Hence the use of the term "space age" in a 2011 tech blog, I suppose...

Thanks so much for finding the entire text of that speech. It moved me to tears the first time I saw it.

Roddenberry explained this in "The Chase".

But on college and high school campuses across the country, it's just another fashion accessory meant to piss people off...

You are aware that nicotine is a vasoconstrictor and as such contributes heavily to hypertension, right? That's how I finally quit. Being hospitalized for BP that was 220/130. I was prob half a pack from a major coronary incident. I was eating healthy at the time and am only slightly overweight and I was still at

This is a joke, right? You had to have known you didn't have a clue as to the correct operation of the rifle. Hopefully now that BoilerUp has posted a proper review showing you how to use the thing, you can amend your awful "review".

Sadly we will once again see HP/Palm release a great product into an already crowded market without mindshare and without a whole lot to offer as far as apps. I had high hopes for the Touchpad and new HP/Palm handsets, but by the time those hit the market, they will already be far behind the curve :(

His Jobness didn't think of this, so it will be decried as a sub-par user experience and nerfed in short order... I, however, think it's probably the first real "cool" thing I've seen on either Apple slab.

@MaNiFeX: Beat me to it; first thing I noticed :D

Diaspora is looking better and better every day... Coincidentally, this new groups feature looks to be a rip off of the Diaspora model...

At no point in my life have I ever uttered the words "man, I wish SW had been done in 3D". This is going to look like a shit sandwich someone tried to pull apart. George, please, for the love of all things holy, get Ron Moore, JJ Abrams and Joss Whedon, throw a metric fuckton of money a them and go on vacation.

I spent 4 years in the Marine Corps infantry and was lucky enough to be assigned to the helicopter assault company of my battalion. The first time I saw this was while I was wearing night vision goggles and, man, I was totally awestruck. As a previous poster stated, I miss stuff like this, but I don't miss the Corps...

Your headlines get stupider and farther from the subject every day, Giz...
