Hahaha. God no.

We could start a kickstarter for an investigation to find out.

.... I thought this suppose to make PS4 console look like an ass.. not the one you want to get.

I’m a fan of the classics.

In the case of Amiibos, it’s just cognitive dissonance. People will make a bunch of dumb excuses because it’s Nintendo.

Flash needs to die.

That’s not silly at all. Voice acting can include hours of screaming (think of your favorite fighting games - those screams don’t necessarily get done in one take, often they require multiple), singing, crying, shouting; besides that, the actor has to be able to bounce through multiple emotions at a moment’s notice

This 100%

No it’s not. That’s the most damaging part of voice acting. Their jobs literally depend on their vocal cords. They want to have a safety net in place. It’s one of the most logical of their demands, really.

Well, if you’re going to be persnickety then I guess it should be pointed out technically they can’t be handbrake turns because living creatures don’t have handbrakes.

Psh. We’re helping all the Kotaku readers who don’t read Reddit!

I feel like these videos are more than a little vague so far. I appreciate the desire to focus on the people, not the games, but there’s a terrible lack of context to really give their accomplishments weight.

Good. Leave him out.

Yup, this is the type of guy I’ll take seriously and have sympathy for. Tooootally.

Getting a reward isn’t the point....

It wasn’t the company that made the mistake, it was a store clerk and you took advantage of it. That employee may have been fired over it, but I guess you get a free game right?

That’s pretty dishonest. You should’ve given them the extra copy.

There’s really nothing wrong with pre-orders here, either. You can always cancel them, and either get your money back or transfer it to another game. Kotaku just over-reacts.

There’s nothing wrong with pre ordering, it’s just Kotaku has reverted back to what they were last summer. Pandering for page clicks, and flooding the feed with obscure Japanese culture posts.

Preordering isn’t bad when you want the Collector’s Edition, which is extremely limited in number.
