On every time, and if the default is off, I turn them on. I can hear just fine, but there's usually small things I may miss from listening alone. I've also noticed how often the subtitles don't match the spoken words 100%.

Are the confusing and terrible subscription options still in place? Like having to buy crystals or whatever it was rather than direct payment or paypal?

I'm half and half. If I buy a game on disc, I sometimes may download it as well so that I can keep my disc copy sealed for my collection. If I want to play multiplayer then no, I'll open the box and do it the proper way.
