Genuinely curious. What is the argument for increasing immigration likelihood for family members over increasing likelihood for individuals that show signs of further economic benefit to the country?

The guy did co-found an internet-based payment company, an electric vehicle company and a rocket-building company. I’d suggest he’s just a bit of a nerd, and innuendos could have totally gone over his head..
I imagine something versatile and reliable would be a good hand-me-down, and low-power if a first car. Early 2000's hatchbacks, small pickups, compact sedans, etc. I can appreciate the pride in saving up and buying a car for one’s self (I’ve never had a hand-me-down), but different situations call for different…
Oh huzzah..................
I have an 02 Mustang GT, which has an SN95 code. S*N*95=25,270. Strangely enough, the car had (in 2002) horsepower roughly equal to 1% that number. I’m sure all of this info will help me next trivia night..
Stable. All very stable. The stablest. No one has been more stable. Nothing to see here.
I’ve run into this feeling before myself, but in cash-only places. I get upset, only to see that ‘Cash Only’ is clearly stated, and hang my emotional righteousness in shame..
I keep tools in my garage. I visually confirm that the door has closed before I leave. I am not leaving until the door is closed, and I’d happily take part in a lawsuit protecting that behavior..
Ugh.. I’ve had my car keyed. My current car. The individual didn’t manage to make it down to bare metal, just primer. Even then, I’m keeping a close eye on any progression.
I haven’t noticed much outrage in the comments, but I also agree with the tax and your points.
Agreed, find out what the code is first (free at those car shops), and I’d suggest doing so in short time. Then research the code online to see what action is needed.
I can’t recommend winter tires enough. With a Mustang on all-seasons, I’ve embarrassed myself numerous times being unable to get going from a stop, or getting out of a parking lot with an ever-so-gentle incline. With winter tires, I’ve never had this problem.
The index fund argument is completely separate from any emergency fund recommendation, and this comes with an assumption of health insurance coverage. One’s contributions should be adjusted as retirement nears to offer solidity and avoid volatility. And there is always the option to withdraw from your 401k (with a…
True. But saying that you can gain or can lose money through an index fund shouldn’t be taken as a 50/50 chance. The investment follows the stock market. The market will plunge with the next recession, but there’s nothing to suggest that it won’t bounce back in the years following. If you’re 10+ years from retirement,…
This is true. There is risk in investing. But when a savings account offers less than 1% APY, and inflation is 2%, you’re guaranteed to lose money. A 401k invested in low fee index funds is solid, but everyone should do some research on ‘Financial Independence’ for themselves.
I had never thought about that before.. I had no idea there were non-GTR Skylines in existence. At least not once they started using the GTR designation. I just assumed they all were.. Hmm.. Today was worth waking up for..
Afraid I can’t read the full article without a subscription. But what little I could read, and what you’ve quoted, there’s nothing about how much these individuals earn, just how much more or less they have in debt. I don’t recall Kmart or the gas station offering me a 401k option, and certainly none of my part time…
The mustang’s 4.6 gets an unnerving rattle above 2k RPMs until the engine warms up. Then no problems. I generally shift early until warm.
Russet potato, sweet potato, carrot and onion hash browns are pretty great. Try any root veggie you’d like, but you won’t go wrong with sweet potato.
I agree. DACA and CHIP are must-haves. Offer more spending on border enforcement in return. These really shouldn’t be partisan issues, and weren’t before the tea party..
