How do you build and operate a structure in a contaminated area?

I agree the verbiage is sensationalist. And I think ‘Repeal & Replace [the tax bill]” is a bad slogan to run on; those words are forever tainted. But the bill definitely needs some fixing, and from everything I’ve read, it WILL be taking money from the average wallet a in a decade (though for now, almost everyone gets

Oof. Your child-dining elitism is about as strong as my vehicular elitism.

Sometimes ultimatums are necessary. “Don’t sleep with other people or I’m leaving you” is a perfectly reasonable statement..

If CHIPs were a bipartisan affair, it would have been passed by now. If it were high on the dem’s platform, the impending budget approval would be on fire. And I haven’t even mentioned DACA yet. Or the bullshit tax reform fucking over most of this country, long-term. As I read my WaPo and NYT, and listen to my Weeds

Good question. I don’t associate as a dem, rather an independent (not a B-Bro). It’s difficult to find Republicans that can explain their stances in a way I agree with. But recent NYT & WaPo stories suggest I might not understand what dems stand for either. I’m in listening mode, but it’s difficult to find a

As a democratic voter, I’d like to see the party grow a pair of courage-producing vessels and stand by their guns. I’ve heard wavering convictions from Northam and Jones recently, which is concerning, not to say anything of the ‘machine’. Not pleased by this news..

Don’t use facebook?

Very true. BUT, I do encourage those capable of comfortably owning an EV to do so. It’ll help encourage the infrastructure support, which would eventually make your life a little easier (in addition to all the pros of owning an EV).

An hour a week certainly isn’t too much, and there happens to be a Tesla dealership along my potential commute. But there are a couple problems: I can’t afford a Tesla (a used Fiat 500e is in the ballpark), and I need to investigate compatibility and other charging options. My desire for something more fuel-efficient

I was looking at the 500e recently. I may be taking a new job that’ll require car commuting, but didn’t notice any electric charging. I’ll have to keep investigating EV charging options in my area. A Mustang and a motorcycle will hold me off until next winter, but I may be shopping options next year..

1% is a nice number, thank you. But parking on the street, just charging it back up after driving is a new chore. Need to look into existing options in my area.

Being an apartment dweller that doesn’t drive all that often, while I like the idea of owning an electric car, keeping it charged makes it a bit ‘blah’ for me at the moment. I am looking forward to owning one, but it isn’t very realistic at this moment..

Do you really need an AMG or Z06 trim? Do the peasants know what these indicate? Pretty sure a fairly modern and clean Benz, Bimmer, Audi or other luxury European model would do the trick.

It’ll be a really creepy day when I’m the only human stuck in traffic for miles, as the robots scuttle back to their charging stations..

Ooh, Chicago? My same options..

Always wear your gear, and get solid gear that fits well; leaving shoes (and maybe an emergency full set) at work might be wise. If you haven’t already taken a rider class, do so. If you haven’t taken a more advanced class, do so. Good luggage and high visibility go a long way as well. And negotiating some

Thanks Alabama black voters! Shame you couldn’t make it to the party last year..

Unless you have at least two rotating shells, a go-kart does not belong on public streets..

I’m going to use this opportunity to announce that I too will refuse doing anything sexy if there isn’t a genuine cause behind that sexiness. If I’m honest, I don’t know of anything I’ve ever done that’s sexy, nor do I know of a cause that sexiness really supports in any meaningful way. But my stance, uh, stands!
