Fuck this squid. Front plates are usually ugly, but required in many states for a reason. Pretty sure back-facing dash cams were in the plans, but it would be prevalent.

Same idea applies to landing, particularly emergency landings. You can land a plane at a particular speed relative to the airspeed passing over the wings. If you fly into a headwind, you can lower your speed relative to the ground by the windspeed*2. Which can be very useful in an emergency.
