It’s not perfect. I don’t hesitate in saying that. It errs on the side of not incarcerating the innocent over making sure the guilty are punished (unless you’re a PoC, it would seem..). I’m not opposed to a stipend to pay rent for reps that travel often. $2.5k seems a bit excessive.. What I’d be more interested in is a salary inline with the average salary (minus the top and bottom 10%) of the American public.
