A lot of things changed in this country that day..

Ugh..
I can agree with a lot of what you’ve stated. But what is the point of an explosive? An airplane is essentially a flying demolition device with the right plan. There’s lesser point in destroying the plane mid-flight versus using it as a tool. I would like a barrier to prevent that from happening. Not sure TSA is that…
Prove that it couldn’t happen tomorrow? Not to be extremist, but certain measures should be in place..
A couple points:
Would you rather have United in charge of their security than the gov?
1: Generally rid yourself of timeline conflicts. I believe an Adequate Man post made a stronger argument than I would be able to.
Heh. True. Do you want to sit near someone that has a street-legal blade on them while in a plane? (Not that you’d want to sit next to ANYONE on a plane.)
Considering that 9/11 was pre-TSA, that’s a curious statement. Not that TSA hasn’t allowed on dangerous materials on several occasions. But I’m not sure I’m willing to believe Spirit and American would hold themselves to the same standards, and a plane can obviously affect far more than those on the plane. Security…
Abolish TSA? Airline security is a necessity. Do you have a suitable replacement? I don’t argue the negatives of TSA, but security is required..
Are you a Chicagoan, and/or do you have an understanding of what’s going on in this city?
Sssssssssssssssssssssssshocking...
Absolutely use it. Extended weekends, hobbies, workshops, volunteering.. or job-seeking..
This is the attitude of one that believes: those not in a position to afford healthcare are responsible for not being in that position. The irony that this bill would screw over so many republicans would be amusing, if the consequences weren’t so dire.
I have a similar universal knife block, using a porcelain white jar. Fantastic. Holds a chef knife, pairing knife, serrated blade and steel, and looks quite presentable.
Plenty of old Ford fox bodies to choose from. Mustang aftermarket parts will often fit, offering plenty of stop and plenty of go. Eric the Car Guy has plenty of videos showing such an upgrade. And I feel this will check the ‘unique’ checkbox.
I can’t see this giving him a boost, but I’ll agree that I doubt it costs him the election. Which would be sad! But I’ll be curious to see the results.
Whoa. I just don’t like large, heavy vehicles. All of the above apply. I wanted to recommend the Flex to a buddy (bought an Odyssey before I had a chance), but I will normally recommend a sedan before something heavier than it should be.
I normally ignore whatever’s going on with pop culture, but gawd dayoum, Ms. Minaj is gorgeous..
My knee-jerk reaction to anything Uber is ‘why does anyone use Uber’. But I feel there’s a more important question there, that doesn’t involve millenial laziness. Something more significant to society. Or I’ve spent to many hours inhaling old oil fumes..
