It’s not so much Trump that surprises me as the Republican congress. Though maybe they shouldn’t surprise me anymore, either..

Sigh.. Time and time again, studies have illustrated that most illegal immigrants are here because they stay beyond what their visa allows, not because they’re crossing the border. I’m fine with sorting out some border adjusted taxation to boost domestic production, but why throw this useless $20B cost on top of it?

A friend bought a CR-V when they were expecting their first kiddo. As soon as the second was on the way, about a year later, they upgraded to an Odyssey. I’m still of the mind that a hatchback is fine for 1-2, but if someone disagrees, I agree that a tall-riding hatchback isn’t going to fill your need.

I recall seeing an article update by WaPo about the employees being fired. Can’t seem to find that now, though. It seems foolish to leave rather than work under this administration, and foolish to fire so many experienced and difficult-to-replace individuals.

Great cars. The series is good, if a bit kiddy. I suppose that’s the point, tho..

This is ludicrous.. It’s also financial incentive to arrest more people during a protest, and/or to use more expensive and unnecessary means in response. In addition to, you know, violating constitutional rights and effectively threatening people against protesting.

You’re not wrong. Too much executive authority was ceded. Either way, this particular power should probably remain as is.

It’s been a pretty shitty week so far. This looks like a fantastic gesture toward someone what will definitely benefit from it. I’m just going to enjoy this.

The evidence of the incompetence is readily available. If the recommended steps are followed and only a 75% improvement in efficiency is achieved, we’re still looking at a ‘free’ $90B to spend elsewhere. Lack of accountability leads to that poor money management..

Keep your blinker fluid topped off.

Mythbusters did this with an auto (locked out) and a manual (gear-grinding, but never able to engage). I believe those were the results, anyway. I mean, if reverse won’t engage at 70mph, go for it. But there can be a difference between knowing something to be true and it actually being true.

Being a good businessperson AND a good person don’t have to be mutually exclusive, despite the numerous examples suggesting as much..

lulz

Ignorance is no longer bliss, but an asset, it would seem. It’s one thing to see Donald’s entourage use this tactic; it’s much more disheartening to see Ryan and Co. utilizing claimed ignorance of a topic.

(I did. My post was sarcasm. And I drive a 2002 Ford, which is basically a 1970's Ford, which means I take plenty of precautions.)

Is this another one of your ‘thermal expansion’ theories? Warming up an engine is inconvenient for me, so I’ll be following my alternate facts, allowing me to do whatever the hell I want. If my engine does suffer, it’s undoubtedly due to cheap Mexican parts and corrupt corporate leadership, trapping me in an endless

One chapter ends, another begins. A dark chapter, perhaps, but we’ve had those before. And we’ve survived. Granted, we haven’t had the luxuries of social media, endless audio/video entertainment and bubble blogs to keep us distracted then. So new challenges await. It’s going to be a difficult four years; rest if you

This is like one of those movies that’s so bad that it should be fun, but it’s just bad..

Money. Everyone loves money. By allowing abortion, you’re taking the single woman that can’t afford a baby off the burden of the taxpayer. By disallowing abortion, you’re forcing the government (and by extension, everyone) to help care for that child. The argument hasn’t worked though, and I don’t really understand

It isn’t just politicians deflecting blame onto others. Yay, America. You were so cool...
