Tom, a lot of guys just really don’t get it. I was actually afraid Mazda was going to offer a V6, the 2.5 is a wonderful power plant and once combined with the really good Mazda 6 speed, the SkyActiv is a very nice unit indeed.
Oh I agree.
You should see my ‘88 GT. It is a beat down p.o.s that I treat like a rented mule and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
We also have a lot of Corvette owners like that around here. Always a C5 or 6, always a guy in my dad’s age range (sixties), always wearing a baseball hat and Tommy Bahama shirt, always need a shoehorn to get in the car, always holding up traffic.
you wont complain when they kick the bucket and their wives who dont know the value sell them for way less than they are worth and you just happen to have enough to by that sucker!
Here they have Corvettes.
Don’t claim it as a “2 door sedan”, the rear seats are nigh unusable for anyone over 5 foot tall. It’s a coupe.
This is true for my area too. Anything new or special version is bought by the old white hair guy who only drives it to shows to plop his chair down and sit for the entire 8 hours. Be careful when you approach! They’ll be happy to tell you how rare the Mystichrome Cobra was when they bought it.
I have a ‘15 GT and every once in a while have trouble getting into gear when driving enthusiastically. I’ll look into that. I really don’t want an increase in N, could tolerate some V.
Sooo... The Fit was a bad fit for you, eh?
Your Fit story has a lot of similarities to mine. I just found it overhyped. I wanted to love it, but I didn't.
The change in the sound was from all the loose plastic parts of the interior being shook up and rearranged.
This is true. Someone told us the Challenger was a hot car at the time. You’ll get all your money back no problem when you’re done, they said. We did not get all our money back.
kind of makes putting a Camaro into the wall seem relatively tame in comparison.
I am a Millennial
I studied and am employed in Marketing, allow me to marketing fluff-up my sentiments on this heap:
You beat me to the punch. the s197 is so far the easiest car I’ve ever had to the pleasure to work on. most bolts can be taken off with a 13mm wrench. It’s great!
The winner would be Batman.
Well damn straight I'd win. King of the monsters baby.
Gotta go against you on that "don't bring your own helmet" thing. Don't know where you're at, Alex, but there's no way in hell I'm sharing a helmet with the general Los Angeles public, especially after I spent good money on my own. I say bring your own helmet and don't talk shit.
