as soon as I saw all the square stickers on the vehicles i just knew this was somewhere in the province of Quebec. These stickers are to protest the fact that municipalities want to cut huge chunks of police and fire department employees pension fund. The stickers say "we didn't steal anything", referring to what they

You forgot the part where they want to dramatically slash the retirement funds of police and fire department employees. Hense why the stickers say "we didn't steal anything" referring to the fact that they feel the municipalities want to rob them of their retirement funds.

First thing that came to mind. Also, what do I have to do to get taken out of the grey? Post a picture of my cat? Sigh, fine!

we have the same problem here in Canada and I agree it's insane to think that a person who can barely drive a 2 ton car would get behind the wheel of a nearly 50 ton vehicle. Madness. Also you nailed it for Ontario drivers. You should also include Quebec drivers!

I recant my statement, disappointed that I have no tail.

Looks like I have a tail.

Ahhhh now I feel like an idiot for completely forgetting about dual-disc clutches. Thanks for the education.

you know i was excited about the ecoboost until i read the car and driver review. The ecoboost has more hp than my 2012 v6 mustang with a stick and a lot more torque yet in stock trim the performance gap is non-existant for straight line shenanigans. People can bash the v6 all they want but so far the 0-60 times are

hey if i end up being wrong about driveability then by all means that would be awesome. But I agree with everything in your last paragraph though I have to add that some people want their track cars to also be their street cars so that's one thing to keep in mind.

i gotta add that there's a difference between prefering manuals and imparting judgemental comments about people who want automatics: "if you buy an automatic you're not right in the head" and "buy a manual, be a man". So you prove yourself to be judgemental and sexist. Instead of just accepting that, you know, people

i never said it was impossible it's just more of a hassle than a lot of people want to deal with. I don't mind wrestling my machine if it's a track or weekend toy. I don't however want to bust my balls with a daily driver. And you wanna know a difference with 700hp in 2015? A lot more low end torque thanks to modern

i can vouch for that. My times this year were half a second slower at the strip because of wheelspin. Need new tires.

Here's why the auto would be the one to have: Manhandling 700+hp and all that torque on a rwd car with a heavy-duty(read: picky/finniky/tempermental) clutch is going to be a ton of work and require some zen. Moreso in the rain. There's a lot of power on tap and it means civilized smooth driving with the stick is going

Wait, you were in 2nd grade back in the area of the year 2000?? I was 12 in 2000! I thought I was still young but guess not!

Now I want his book as well.

I'd say any fox body or newer mustang should make the list. With the exception of the pre-3.7L V6 models. The Mustang aftermarket is likely very close to being as insane as the one from Honda. With a certain web store dedicated to mustangs that has everything you could ever dream of.

Would be great but apparently(though someone correct me if i'm wrong) there's a law in the books that requires engines in the USA to be able to run with 87 octane.

I solved that annoying problem by just not watching cable news ever. Radio news is the worst because the local stations buy into all the viral "news" that circulates on facebook without ever fact checking. I've embarassed a few local hosts a few times on their pages by providing them with proof that their news reports

Never understood why they stick to that system, especially for weather. 0 as the freezing point of water is, you know, more logical than 32 but I degress.

oops
