Anything American huh? Well, tht must be the reason for this car's durability. It was very easy to keep running, even when the fan belt flew off late in the race. As Murilee said in a post, it was so reliable that Toyota teams were envious!

Attention Please, may I have your attention please..... Please be aware that another BMW rant is about to commence..... Thank you.

I hate to say it, but SAAB will be dead within days. If it is "sold" to one of the two boutique companies that expressed an interest, it will turn out as badly as the Rover deal did. Cheap Chinese copies, with a badly renamed nameplate, after the "investment" group collapses.

I know you all hate this, but it time for on of my Obscure Muscle Car Postings, the Turbo Charged Ford Coupes: The SVO Mustang (along with the T-Bird Turbo and the Merkur XR4Ti). Just follow this link!

I am not, repeat, not going to approve the comment below that allegedly shows the "Black Ops" vehicle.

Well, it's time to re-introduce you all to a Canadian Hybrid (and no, it's not a Prius type of Hybrid). How about a Chevrolet styled body, with a Pontiac styled interior. Presenting the Beaumont, and in the SD version was just a potent as the SS version of the Chevy!

@paulmer hates electric cars: Well, there is a reason why they are now called the "Ultimate Douchebag Machine" Take these fine upstanding.... Douchebags...

I have nothing but the deepest sympathy for the passenger's family. His life was cut short because of a moronic driver, who unfortunately survived. There was no mention (at least in this post) on the condition of the other victim, the unfortunate truck driver.

@UDMan: And now for a 1965 Dodge Dart Wagon. Notice the rear window.

@UDMan: Here is a 1965 Valiant Wagon.

The Wagons were even more stylish, in an ugly sort of way. Did you know they used the basic body shell for both the Dart and the Valiant wagons right through 1967? They were thinly disguised....

@UDMan: Not only do they lookgood on a Pickup, but take a look at this 1960 International Semi.

@UDMan: And to prove it, here is a shot of an International (Big Truck) with the same headlamp assembly.

@oddball67: I believe we have a winnah!

@Novaload: What I meant to say is the shot out lights in the lead image is not a 1957 Nash, but I thought everyone would like to see it.

I know this is not it, but I thought you would all like to see the 1957 Big Nash.

Ray, with this leak, you're really pushing GM's buttons, and not in a good way. But you never know what you can get away with until you push the envelope.

Well, looks like my team was honored again. I was quite fun trying to make the Corvair go around the track, and yes, t was almost dead reliable. I received an e-mail from Jay, and my residual value is $150, so there will be only 3 things modified for the upcoming season:

@Alfisted: Great Minds Think Alike
