Well, I have a close cousin to this van, and its a 1983 model. It will be undergoing a cosmetic restoration this summer, and I plan on doing a series of posts about it.

The Italian Cars have been quite inspirational at LeMons. The New England race had a contingent of Alfas that proved quite reliable, and finished in the top 10.
As with any new BMW, it's ugly, but should sell well to all the fashionistas.
The footage from this posting, as well as the MGB that went flying off into the grass shows that the speeds have increased at this venue. It also looks like the "Racecar" (RX-7, E30, Miata, Honda) is dominating over the "LeMons" cars.
Oh for Chryslers Sake, what a bunch of whiners. "Oh the seats is scuffed up". Remember, we are talking about Chrysler Interiors of the early 90's, in which the "Leather" is very thin to begin with.
It is such a pretentious showcase of useless technology. Ah, but what would a supercar be without a flashy way of getting into it?
@Maymar: The States of Connecticut and New York have purchased hundreds of Sprinters. The New York DOT uses them for Highway Maintenance, and the State of CT uses them for Disability Transport.
At least this Miata is a little more "Butch". Alas, I still vote crack.
Or how about this: The Blastolene Peterbilt. That's a V-12 Detroit Diesel 2 Stroke! #trucks
Or this fantastic Peterbilt by Outlaw Customs. #trucks
I saw this truck. I've seen others that were better. Like this 1947 Diamond T. #trucks
@zsvdkhnorc hates when Jalopnik gets political: Don't call me a Christian. I'm a reformed Catholic, a born again atheist, and at worst, an agnostic. A God, in my opinion, is a myth. #gm
@zsvdkhnorc wishes he knew how to embed links: $5.00 an hour is not a sustainable wage. $10.00 an hour is not a sustainable wage. Even $20.00 an hour is not a sustainable wage if you want to live anywhere above the poverty line. And I'm talking money, don't add in the fringe benefits like Fox News like to do to…
@Heftyjo: Ha. I really hate the left for dredging up the founding fathers argument. These were landowning, white men, who sought a new republic because they felt that the mother country was taxing them too much to make a decent profit.
@aurora40: Not at all. They have effectively choose not to fight for the US worker in the same manner as the Korean, Japanese, and European communities have done. The closest country that chooses to have completly open free trade is Great Britain, and as you can see, they have absolutely no industry whatsoever (at…
@joshuadjackson: Which means that if the threat of Unionization becomes a thing of the past, so does sustainable wages for these poor workers in the Southern States.
@Nitrous Oxide: Oh, we are going to go down this path right?
The Volga Sibir. It's really the previous (and much better looking) version of the Chrysler Sebring! #qotd
You know, it's time for me to say something again. The very definition of conservative is as follows (from Dictionary.com, by the way):
