Since Matt brought up this particular QOTD, I thought I would explain the series of posts over at (another blog). It was inspired by the late, great, Jalopnik feature, the Jalopnik Fantasy Garage. Instead of voting on some super rare classics that should be housed in a garage, I came up with a twist.

The comments so far say crack pipe, but the voting reveals a different story as of 8:50 AM EST. I feel the price for this hooned out BRAT is about $1,500 too high, but it would make a great LeMons car.....

As I write this comment, a little before half past eight in a sunny Tuesday Morning in CT, it is almost a 50 / 50 race between Nice Price, and Crack Pipe.

I didn't think Audi could have screwed up the R8 any more than they did with the e-Tron concept. I guess I was wrong.

Longest Press Release Ever. It's almost as long as the car.

Wes, how many times are you going to refer to your pending Laguna Seca brawl with Maximum Lutz in the same article. We get it, You, Lutz, Showdown of the year.

With a view of the side profile, it looks like Audi took all the excitement of the R8 design, and it looks a little bland. The wheels don't help either.

Do I really have to say this? NICE PRICE!

@YashwantNimrit/Maya: As the resident troll during the week, I give you the award for being the most trollish this weekend.

@Z71: Are you actually going to say that Connecticut is too far for you? We had teams from Rochester, Syracuse, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont there. Hell, I had team members from Toledo, Chicago, Long Island, and LA, so get your sorry a$$ going.

Well, I actually went to two can am races in my youth, one was at Watkins Glen, and I think the other one was at Lime Rock, but I could be mistaken there. I didn't actually drive to either event because I wasn't old enough to drive, and I only remember a couple of cars vividly in my mind, and they were blue, with

@Carplanetzone1: You are very new here. The weekends are reserved for core Jalopniks. Go back a few months, and discover the Jalopnik Fantasy Garage, Project Car Hell, or any of the irreverent writings of past contributors like Lieberman, Diddles, Arnold, and others.

@acarr260: About that crack about my series over at the unnamed blog, it actually generated more traffic than other posts, except for the Caption Contest, or some of the Drifting Videos.

I have been lurking on and off all day today, looking for interesting content. Sigh, almost none today.

Every bloody time an Australian RWD car line is featured on these pages, you guys seem to get all twisted, maniacal, and crazed. Whether it's a Holden, or a Ford, you all behave like a bunch of rabid jackals.

@Formerlythegreatestdriver: And this has been my argument all along when the comentariant brings up why Ford should just import the Euro Focus. It's just too expensive for the average American to pay almost Volvo Prices for what they deem as an economy car.

I'd buy it, but not for $2,200. The Isuzu Diesel is a stout little engine, and this was way before electronics, so it's an easy conversion to a veggie oil burner. But, the price should be cut by at least 50%.

You know, everyone still keeps ringing up Trucks... and as Murilee said, no trucks.
