I never know what to expect from these posts produced by the Crazy Euro Car Boy. I wonder what his take on the American car scene (once he comes back over the pond that is) will be.

What I am most surprised at is the Ford Escape. The little SUV is what, 9 years old, with relatively few changes? The fact that the Edge isn't outselling it speaks volumes. And I see the Altima is right up there with the Camry and Accord.

Gee, I'm glad I didn't take the advise of my broker, and jump on the wagon to buy GM a few months ago. My portfolio, by the way, includes only about 5% stock (usually tech companies like Apple, and Microsoft), the rest in treasuries, gold, certificates of deposit, and a few municipal bonds. I haven't lost nearly as

I guess it's time for the flaming heresy post, from your number one asshole, me!

@peejaybee: Yes I am already aware that the Car advisory network picked up this story from Jalopnik, and from CarDomain. I thank them very much for generating additional page views. You know who else picked up the story?

Murilee, where do you find the time?

@tankman: Less dealerships selling the same number of vehicles will save the manufacturer money in the long run. How? Let me explain:

@dfwguy: Let me answer you dfwguy. Chrysler has been pushing separate Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge stores to merge with each other, and become one store. The reason for this is it saves the manufacturer money in a number of ways, including print (advertising, brochures, placards, etc), personnel (less people to audit

You know, while I'm at it, why not take a look at my 6.3 posting as well?

Great time for me to bring one of my Obscure Muscle Car Postings up....

@junkman: Classy remark from an equally classy guy. This is how you respond to a posting like this.

You know what Ben, smarmy comments, and snappy remarks really isn't necessary. Yes these were cars of questionable taste, and yes the asking price is a bit over the top. However, compare your rather tasteless write up with one that treats these cars with a little respect.

@wkiernan: ugh, a Miata fanboy. At least he's not an E30 fanboy.

@wheels OF satan!: Oh for gods sake. Of course women show up for this race. As a matter of fact I have three on my team, two who are crew members (and will be wrenching the air cooled wonder), and one will be a driver (with a lot more experience driving than most of the men who read this blog!)

Cars have always had weights to balance the tires. What is a little strange is that this is news to anyone.

I came upon this posting, and wasn't sure what to expect. Only one word comes to mind..... Brilliant!

Actually, Chrysler was way ahead of the other two when it comes to the intermediate size. You see, this Belvedere used the "downsized" platform of the Fury that was introduced in 1962. with each year afterwards, Elwood Engel, who replaced Virgil Exner as the Chrysler Design Chief, tacked on a little more length, and a

@Peter Orosz: Peter, did you know there is a Delta Airlines non stop from Amsterdam to Hartford daily? Remember, July 11, and 12th this year is the LeMons New England.

So, when did Peter start posting about LeMons? I can see it now, child like crayon illustrations of all the action, artsy like photography of "Le Crapcans", biting commentary about the award presentations.
