This is a pretty solid review.
Oblivion did a much better job fleshing out the story lines for each guild quest line instead of the random “go here kill/steal” formula from Skyrim and then Fallout 4. The “Path of Dawn” quest in Oblivion took me some time to figure out. I agree that a remade/remastered Oblivion would be great.
Oblivion was my introduction to the Elder Scrolls series and I felt more immersed in that world than I did with Skyrim. In Skyrim I don’t think I ever felt like anything I did mattered, while in Oblivion I followed my character’s traits.

Why would he?
I’ll just wait for Downhill Domination 2: Electric Boogaloo!
This sounded amazing and I would still love to have MW Remastered on my Xbox, but I refuse to until it’s offered as a standalone or the price goes down significantly. I refuse to buy into this package deal crap and I don’t want to install a huge game I’ll never touch on my hard drive just to access the game I want to…
Yeah not equal, because they make up a larger percentage: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/sep/18/52-percent-people-playing-games-women-industry-doesnt-know
but what about the original 4 games?
I’m totally with you, I think devs should have creative freedom to implement their vision just as they see it. But unfortunately push and pull from the market (“I buy games that have boobs on the cover”or “I don’t want my kids buying boob games” for example) holds a lot of weight in the process. Personally I think…
People aren’t going to ignore them in a society where the easiest claim to fame and self-importance is to make a big deal about nothing.
