If you think the melee jump is still the most fun thing in the game, you haven’t went up a slight bump of terrain in a nomad and jumped while boosting right at the top.

Easily one of the best underrated mp games to exist. Their levels were extremely diverse, as were the modes, mix that with a great class and skill system with per-game buys for new equipment, and you realise that it was well ahead of it’s time. I’d buy a remaster of that.
As someone with rudimentary knowledge of Makaton due to a severely disabled elder brother, I love this idea. I know not the intricacies nor widespread-iness of sign languages, but is ASL the predominant sign-language based on percentiles? Or the easiest to pick up? Makaton itself is extremely simple and vague in a lot…
To be fair, so is the name “Smith” and other such human names. XD
My little brother and I played the ever loving shit out of that game growing up, easily one of the best couch games ever made. Not to mention unlock-able bikes that include A FUCKING LLAMA! Man, rasping down a mountainside battering fools on a Llama is still a highlight of my early life with my bro. What a game.
It sort of makes use of them. Selling them and dismantling them allows you cash and resources to craft/upgrade your own equipment, so it’s worth just spamming pick-up on things, locking the stuff that you don’t want to sell or offer to the gods (another thing to do with them, that gets you the equivalent of “souls”…
By “second boss” do you mean the lightning flinging tiger thing or the vampire? The Vampire woman was awkward at the start, especially with heavy equipment, but playing the chip game on her with light equipment and a Kusarigama (plus keeping some antidotes on you for when you do eventually get hit with a poison…
Ohhh~ That looks like it’s just an overworld thing, like Monk said. Other games have similar things. In some JRPGs you just insta gib any monsters too far below your level so you don’t need to constantly fight redundant battles, etc..
The only thing I remember that might be confusing you (if you even are at all, I don’t follow JRPGs too closely) is the recent releases in the series that go by the names Dragon Quest Heroes and Heroes 2. They were action-y, but iirc they also weren’t mainline. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I sound like Caucasian Barry White With A Hangover if I’ve been to the pub in the last 24 hours. Where do you want me?
FFXII, HotS, and Path of Exile. I recently got back into the latter, and a friend constantly invites me to play HotS. FFXII is a given because it’s the best FF and thus I needed to get the remaster and play it through again.
From what I’ve seen, that only applies to the disk version of the game. Obviously, because games now-a-days require installing before they run on consoles, you need to install IW to get into the game at all, then you run MWR from it’s menu meaning it requires two installed games to play, which is hella shit. However,…
Can totally understand your point here, and it is insane to offer it only as part of a bundle (though that didn’t stop me from buying into it), however, they are actually separate downloads and installs, so if you buy IF for MWR, then you can never even see IF if you want. Well, you can on PS anyway. I can’t say 100%…
Cool article and study. Thanks for the info. Never really been much of a lover of percentiles covering broad subjects when using such relatively small sample sizes, but it should at least be indicative.
Women Play video Games
D:
It looks so fucking good.
Wicked. I really hate how the JDCR nobheads went to every event to stomp people that haven’t played the game so they can earn cash. It’s hella low. Now that we all have equal access to the game, it’s more acceptable, but before it was a real cunt move. Country/city tournaments should have been regulated against that…
Gods forbid having options in games. I’d never want to be able to deactivate aim assist in R6:S. Nor would I like to ever have minimal HUDs on games. Options are bad, yo.
Not an attack here, but that does just sound like your problem. I played JRPGs in front of my missus loads, and they’re basically made of boobs. It was a laughing point when it was pointed out, but generally if you just ignore/accept something, it goes by completely unnoticed, or at least uncontested. Of course,…
