I wish they would actually turn on automatically. My '12 BMW requires the driver to press the Auto button to turn it on, then it speeds up/slows down automatically.

No but there is an ECO PRO+

VOTE: Jawbone Jambox or Logitech UE Mobile Boombox

I use the upgrades from the other lines on my family plan and upgrade to a new iPhone every year. I keep the phone in a case and then get it unlocked for resell maximum value. The newest iPhone usually costs me nothing out of pocket, so why not. Up until the iPhone 5 I could even use the same cables and docks.

The problem (in my opinion) is the mandatory data plan requirement by major carriers. I have AT&T with 5 lines on a family plan. 4 of those lines have iPhones and the other is a Nokia flip phone. I'd love to replace the flip phone with an old iPhone 3G and keep the $10 monthly fee. With wifi and shared unlimited text

I have an iPhone 3GS with a broken home button and a couple of cracks in case. I feel bad just letting it collect dust in a drawer. Doing a factory reset and keeping it in the house as an emergency phone is the best use that can come up with. I can hardly wait to see what I ideas folks come up with.

That sounds fishy. Maybe the agent meant you have to book 2 one-way tickets (which seems like an odd restriction). Check with Southwest, since they are now merged with AirTran You may have more optionsflexibility.

If you don't like your salary being public information then definitely don't work for the government.

More specifically: DSLR camera kit. iPhone pics look good on-screen but nothing beats a proper DSLR, quality lenses, & a tripod for making photos that look good printed at 24" x 36".

Splurge on maple syrup, but keep a small bottle of the cheap corn syrup topping for friends & family who insist on drowning their pancakes. A little of the real stuff goes a long way.

Just one question: has the loud beeping with every button push & at startup/shutdown been changed? It makes the Jambox obnoxiously loud and inappropriate in an office. Check out the complaints at the Jawbone forum and the excuse that it can't be changed.

The other end of the spectrum is parents being too scared to take away their kid's iPad because they won't be the damn thing down.

This one of the best reasons that I'm happy Apple has kept the iPhone screen the same size: cheap screen protectors. They're basically free with most cases or at least easy to find for $1.

Where's the lens cap version? I'd pay $50 to keep my damn lens cap from falling off in my bag.

I did a 1-yr fellowship after undergrad instead of going to law school. From there I went straight to grad school and got a full-time job in 4 months. I learned that you get much more out of grad school with work experience that you can bring to the classroom. But for me I went straight in because I knew the job

Tip for grad school: Network. These folks are the ones already doing the work that you're interested in and you're more than likely to see them in professional situations in your future career. Grad school's expensive so people tend to take it much more seriously because they want to get something out of it beyond the

Doesn't Red Bull + Vodka pretty much make everything last longer?

Recently at a boutique hotel I was given the advice to ask the front desk person to pull up a travel website for an on the spot price match and ask for complimentary parking or breakfast to sweeten the deal. Parking in a big city is easily 10-20% of the room rate.
