That’s a really shallow reading. Companies can have a distinct identity and philosophy and that gets lost or abandoned when they’re acquired by larger corporations, even the new owners pledge to stay true to the founders’ visions.
Even though I am a fan of the series (Discovery excluded) the only Star Trek movie I really enjoyed was Wrath of Khan. That being said, if they got a good writer (like Alex Garland) I could totally go for a Borg origin story movie.
Even though those roles were recast for this latest film in the franchise, there is at least one other familiar face returning to Bill & Ted: William Sadler as the Grim Reaper.
His dedication shows. He’ clearly one of the best characters on the show along with Avasarala.
It’s happening!
And Prez. She could do both jobs...lol!
He’s not really ignoring race but you go ahead and keep eating that garbage up.
The question was “What advice would you give me if I was pulled over by police?” not “how would you solve police brutality against black people?”
OMG...that was so good, thank you for posting it, i had to get my tissues out...lol. I would love to see her take on Trump on the debating stage, it would be like steam roller going over an orange ant.
That wouldn’t have been an appropriate response to the question. “I would tell him that I’m solving police brutality by...” He’s already gone on record talking about his plans. Bernie “I have the most multi-racial coalition” Sanders. Looks like enough people are figuring out that Bernie’s bold and comprehensive policies will serve far more good for racial equality than the act of pandering or political dodging a question— the way virtually any other candidate would have treated this…
I’ll be really sad if there’s no more Jared Harris. I know he was making the first season of the Terror before, but I hope they can bring him back.
Aron hosted a podcast called 7th Rule that was all about Star Trek. His co-host was his DS9 buddy Cirroc Lofton. Aron was not just a great addition to the Trek cast of characters, he was an enthusiastic and devoted fan of the franchise. What a sad loss.
OMG Charlie! I’m so happy for her success.
This is as good a place as any to say, if you’re a fan of io9, CJA, and Annalee, you should definitely be listening to their Hugo-winning podcast Our Opinions Are Correct. Trust me, you’ll thank me for it later.
Jesus christ. Blur that picture. NSFL
I’m all angered out, but take great pleasure in knowing that HBO killed their idiotic Confederate idea.
