yeah, but isn't it protected by copyright nontheless? (or something like that? There's a reason source codes from propietary IPs are seldom made public, and most of the time they reach public light is when the developer held/acquired the rights to it, as opposed to Big Mean Publisher holding the rights!).

As sad as it's death may be, LucasArts has been making awful decisions for a looooong time now. The last game that they developed that was nice was Lucidity (2009). All they kept doing before that was cancelling awesome games and making sure to choke developers they had licenced games to. Good riddance.

While I share your fears, they still deserve - at the *very least* - the benefit of the doubt.
