Yes
Corvette has offered pickup at the factory (or museum), but they charged extra for it.
Pretty A+ but for the Murano, which at least until recently was the big moneymaker.
Credit where due, FCA’s Pacifica PHEV is literally the only hybrid van on the market, and a damn good one at that.
But yeah, FCA isn’t letting me down, because I knew they didn’t have the potential or forethought to pull something like this off in the first place.
Ford isn’t achieving the goals it set for itself.
You think Teslas are half baked? The original Focus EV had a range of 76 miles. It also cost $39,000.
What kind of BMW do you want that is not actually available?
Seems like enough space for an LS swap.
I disagree. Many families, like my own, have two cars. We don’t need both cars to be able to make long trips. One car is used strictly for local commuting. That car could easily be a BEV. PHEV adds unnecessary complexity and additional maintenance.
Neutral: No. God no. Of course not. Hell, a lot of the truckosexuals take low fuel economy as a badge of honor. Look at the rolling coal douchebags.
It would be interesting if a new auto workers’ union came into existence specifically due to all the anti-UAW sentiment floating around nowadays. While I know that there are plenty of people out there against ALL unionization, I get the impression that more people are against the UAW specifically, rather than…
No irony involved.
You’re absolutely right in no way. List of global 747 operators
OH, MAN. Another cheesy story involving flaming goat lactose...
Audi knew their customers weren’t fully ready to give up internal combustion yet.
Hey Rob, so I was an idiot and provided wrong info on the warranty. Is there any way to make a correction?
Until they build an EV with a manual transmission, can go 800 miles on a single charge, take 30 seconds to recharge, and cost $30,000 new, I won’t be buying an EV.
PHEV might be less battery intensive but then you need two powertrains which adds tremendously to cost and complexity. And because the batteries undergo so many charge cycles you can actually only use a much smaller percentage of the total capacity of the batteries. You actually end up having to carry around a lot…
Is that because it is a conversion and not purpose a purpose built EV?
Battery prices have been dropping like crazy. In 10 years the price per kW/h went from $1000 to ~$200 now. If prices get to $75 per kW/h by 2025, then the battery for a Bolt will drop to $4,500.
