No, and neither had anyone. That is a made up word.

I think they misunderstood how nickel based battery technology works
I think this is probably the most-jalop spec (lowest cost, RWD, still quick) but I don’t know how jalop hiding every function behind a quarter acre touch screen is.
North Carolina owner here. I installed 3M Crystalline 70. Also, I started using the phone app to pre-cool my car (obviously if you make plans spur of the moment it’s not always applicable) and between the two I haven’t had a hot car - it’s always a pleasant temp when I use it, compared to my old non-precooling…
BEVs have a lower cost of ownership. If you’re switching from an ICE, saving on gas is absolutely something that comes into play.
As long as they list the upfront price as well (which they do), there is nothing wrong with that.
I have an X with black interior and it’s not bad. The tesla has a cabin overheat feature that automatically cools it to keep it from exceeding 110 (I think). Also, I hit the button on my phone to turn on the A/C and cooled seats before I head out to the car so I don’t bake.
It's very cheesy how they present it. But it is real. I leased an i3 and saved $100 per month in hard dollars on my electric bill vs the pump. So if you're looking at a $400 per month payment it isn't delusional to realize you're net $300 only per month. But it is funny how they avoid dealerships entirely but then…
It’s got power steering, the base model just doesn’t have a power tilt/telescoping steering wheel.
Cool, right after the end of the $7,500 Tesla tax credit. Still, in Colorado you’d get the $3,750 fed tax credit, $5,000 state tax credit, so the car would be $26,250. Not bad.
I assume this is a sarcastic reply meant to mimic a typical FB response? Lol.
Yeah, there are plenty of truck owners looking for good economy when they’re just commuting. So they’ll change out the rear end, mod the engine, add aero. Some allegedly get 30mpg on the highway with the mods. And then when the need to tow comes up they’ll go back to stock. Nothing wrong with that IMO.
This thing has been making the rounds in all of the FB car groups, and it’s amazing how many people immediately jump down the guy’s throat with comments poking fun at someone who apparently can’t afford gas for the car, or is too stingy if a Prius isn’t economical enough for him.
What the fuck, people. This is awesome.…
I’m sure that’s the same reason the Expedition made the list. They’re comparing the woefully outdated last-gen unit to the current one
For modern vehicles GM already did that 20 years ago with the electric S10 that was commercial fleet only.
Thats a good point. Hopefully it learned how to accelerate and get better mpg.

I want to say COTD.
A good friend of mine’s mother had a 2002 Windstar while I was in middle and high school. We’ll call the friend “V”. We actually did call V’s mother “Bob” because someone once said “Mom” with a head cold, and it came out as “Bob”. And the name stuck. Anyway, Bob and her husband—V’s father—bought the 2002 Windstar new…
