What you needed was the PlugShare app. It shows all the chargers, irrespective of network (you can set it to only show the networks and charger types that you are interested in) and includes user comments, so you can see the real state of a charger (is it working, is is blocked by a gate or valet parking, etc.)

On the other hand, I think this is exactly what movies need and have forgotten: a little bit of, y’know, fun. A touch of whimsy.

Haven driven an electric car for the past 5 years I’ll add my 2 cents. For most two car house holds an 80-100 mile EV will work as a second car. During my five years of ownership I only had real range issues once and I only charged the car publicly as a necessity twice.

It’s okay—the joy I would get out of owning a brand new Panamera is certainly less than the joy I can get from an old Fiat 2000 Spider, some windy roads, and the knowledge that my bills are paid and I’m not living in debt.

Speaking as someone who makes around 200 gross, I can not afford this car. Then again, I live in one of the most expensive cities in America, and I’m saving for my future.
