Lower hanging fruit, I’m shocked there’s no highlander hybrid plugin. Or even a hybrid Sienna.

God forbid they make a hybrid taco or Tundra like they said they would years ago.

Maybe if the land cruiser didn’t get 10mpg it’d sell better.

Especially considering the yield curve is flattening. Next recession’s probably only about 2 years out.

Tesla: Model S

Kill the X and make a longroof version of the S with normal doors.

He’s probably lucky he didn’t do this in Italy.

Saw some italian dude get straight up booted from the Petersen for doing this with one of the Ferraris in the entrance way. (I think it was a 360 but can’t remember exactly)

It was behind ropes and everything but he felt compelled to lean on the spoiler for a photograph. So he and his girlfriend had a rather short

I’ll give you this. But I’ve never met someone who traded in their 10-15 year old car over safety concerns.

On paper it makes absolute sense since the cost of an injury when you might’ve walked away is many times the value of the car but people just don’t think like that.

That’s been my experience driving a lot of newer stuff. Cars don’t seem to have really improved that much in the last 10 years or so. Not like the difference between 80's and 90's cars at least.

The biggest difference is infotainment, and nothing will match up to a dash mount for your phone, or ripping it out and

How does their ADAS stack up against Subaru’s eyeSight?

I considered the C5 as a daily like 10 years ago but at least back then there weren’t any good options for snows.

President Camacho found the smartest guy in the world and put him in charge of solving a major crisis. Trump sends Jared.

Idiocracy is a utopia.

6 months later: WHY WON’T THE YURPEENS BUY OUR CAR?

It’s too bad the flex went away. A flex hybrid would’ve been a compelling alternative to the highlander hybrid

No wagon?

I’ve read more like 5-7 years. Which is still pretty good. At that point you can just peel it off and you should still have a decent looking paint job underneath (assuming everything was well done)

Blown Rover V8 swap complete with homemade holland and holland package in the back?

Goes well with the LS swap.

well on the cost front a, a lot of factory metallic paints are going to run you $2k or so already so offset that cost by going with whatever the base (probably black) color is.

I’ve understood it’s about $5k for a good wrap unless you’re going the full Bieber.

Plasti dip seems to have come on in leaps and bounds as

Just get whatever’s free and wrap it anything you like. Bonus is it protects the paint anyway and you can be a bit more adventurous with the color without worrying about resale value (bright yellow Volvo wagon anyone?)

I love my car’s color but I regret not going this route since I could’ve had something unique.

So your fiance is into what I would call “tow vehicles” and you see this as a problem?

For smaller cars just packaging both drivetrains is an issue, hence why the prius prime and Volt both have compromised seating arrangements. If they did a fundamental rethink of the vehicle like fisker did you could probably solve a lot of this by putting batteries under the floor where they belong but I don’t see
