yeah that’s been my experience with turo. 90% of people are fantastic but the bottom 10% cause all sorts of problems. It seems to be getting worse though so perhaps it’s just that the assholes hadn’t found out about it yet.

I was excited to see the docking stations near my house, but at least in SD Deco bike costs more than Uber for the same trip.
The bikes seem to be a bit better. At least people seem to have “bike mode” in their head and behave a lot better on the road. I often see scooters swerving all over the road and going the wrong way up one way streets.
They truly are the jet-skis of the land. Douche magnets.
No one believed the guy who figured out Madoff either.
Have you seen who the president is?
Where I’ve come down on this is that Tesla is probably the best covered car company. I’ve never found the statistic again but I read somewhere that it accounts for like 40% of automotive media traffic. This means every issue that a Tesla has is well covered (it’s not like fires are fake news) the problem is that…
Just follow me for a minute.
2 Nissan leaf drivetrains.
Poor mans Tesla
I remember seeing these as a kid and thinking how futursitic they looked. Wrapping / respraying it a more interesting color and going maybe +1 or 2" on the wheel size would do a lot to update the styling. Add an Android head unit and you’ve got a heck of a roadtrip machine.
We all love Ray, but doesn’t this have some ethical implications since he used to work here but now does PR for GM?
I think the answer in the end is likely that they’re so rare in the grand scheme of things that it’d be very hard to quantify and excluding egregious faults you’re better off focusing on other things when it comes to safety.
Almost like asking which car you’d rather be struck by lightning in.
Don’t forget when all those people couldn’t drive their 991 GT3's because the engines would throw a rod through the block and start a fire.
Outside of maybe the instrument cluster, what is there about this car that they couldn’t have done 8 years ago? It’s nice but it doesn’t feel like much of a leap over the M6.
yeah it’s super comfy for napping on autopilot.
Tesla’s not the greatest place to work when it comes to hours and pay so pretty much anyone who isn’t all in on Musk’s vision likely moves on on their own before getting laid off.
I had mixed feelings about the $25M thing but I came down on the side that he’s putting more of his own skin in the game, it’s not like he…
Never go full teen wolf
Apple.
Someone suggested Catatumbo and I really liked it
Do we know what the chassis code for this thing is (e.g. 991, 987) because I’m just going to refer to it as that, and if I ever get one I’m re-badging it as such.
