Value menu does it for me, plus the build your own cravings box, for $6 that thing makes Taco Bell one of the only semi-affordable fast food places I’ll still check out. Baffling how almost every other fast food place has priced itself out for me, and I’m not downloading and signing up for several apps so McDonalds

Any pizza places we’ve actually heard of?

Still one of the best long-roof options in production, especially in that green, but I still have to knock points off for the multitude of screens for no good reason and I continue to hate every iteration of the constellation headlights.

More pictures would have been nice.

I’ve been calling the need for a Cat 6 for years. There is only so many times that forecasters can say an “exceptionally” strong Cat 5 afore you just need to break down and accept it is just a new normal level.

I’ll see your dr650 and raise you a Yammie TW200.

What’s hilarious about these is that the Class-C motorhome market is the only thing keeping them around, even though you can still make such a thing out of Transit. And anyone whose driven both will tell you the Transit is zillion times better.

The Suzuki DR650 came out in 1990 so it’s got the Honda by 2 years and it is even more old school than the XR650. It is still Carb’d to this day.

5th Gen 4runner has been essentially the same since 2009 with the engine and transmission being pulled from the previous generation with very little changes.  The Tacoma got a new 3.5 Direct injection V6 and 6 speed auto, then a 2.4 turbo and hybrid- the 4runner is still kicking with a 4.0 V6 and 5 speed auto only.

Been for sale since 1992. Yes, it’s only been available as a cutaway since MY 2015, but this design is over 3 decades old. Took a model year off in 2020 when they switched from the old V10 to the Godzilla.

The Toyota 4Runner. 14 years...

Long live Godzilla!

Not a car but a bike, Honda Xr650L, released in 1992, still on sale unchanged (other than paint and graphics). It is a solid, simple, rugged bike, so it is not shocking that it is still wanted, but the lack of update in it’s 30+ year run is something to gawk at.

Unchanged since the dark ages. I know it is a work thing and super useful. I have owned a few. No real need to change but still so so old of a design.

Given how Flippy-floppy Nikki has no mind:

Oh look! I turned out to be exactly correct about Boeing’s problems with fuselages—how they were fools to spin off fuselage manufacturing to Spirit Aerosystems for simple tax reasons, not quality reasons:

One of my favorite things to do on vacation is to find good local places and stuff myself :)

A Caeser salad can be an amazing thing if done right - good cheese, in-house made croutons, a well-seasoned protein, fresh greens, and most importantly an in-house made dressing...sometimes you want something lighter than a ribeye or plate of pasta.

I used to live in South Florida… back in the before times… when you could still get home owners insurance without having to sell both kidneys… it wasn’t perfect… but it wasn’t like this. Now I look at Florida and all I feel is sadness and disappointment… it didn’t have to be this way… but this is the way it is. So
