It's been a curious thing...

(In it for the pleasure of the argumentative responses?)

No anger, just annoyance that people are trying to pass cell-phone cameras (ESPECIALLY the iPhone...especially on Giz) off as DSLR replacements, when anyone who knows anything (hell, a quarter of anything) about DSLRs knows that high censor resolution + software does not a DSLR make.

I hadn't realized New York had thought police.

No excuse for it being that THICK.

As an investor, this was a bullshit move by apple.

Why would you just give the money BACK to them?

When you set the MarkIII's settings to all be STATICALLY set to the inflexible phone's, then sure you can compare it to a freakin shitty PHONE camera, but even TRY to compare a phone camera to it when actually making use of the advanced functions of the DSLR and you'll put the little gizmo to shame!

Facebook for free, for "poor people"... and people are surprised Facebook's stock is tanking... O_o

Here's the actual science behind what motivates us to get up for work every day:

People with slotted screwdrivers and more dexterity than a 5 year-old?

Bent nail = not attractive. :-/

HA! Perfect opportunity to snub the asshole who brags about his first-class isle seat. X-D

Correction:

Google should sue Apple for obviously copying Google Maps (pins, blue route line, etc).

Not natively afaik, but obviously the mobile web-app is already there on safari.

How about when there is no deal in a category we DON'T advertise for a product that will be the EXACT OPPOSITE of a "deal"?

It's one thing to put your ad on a billboard.

Considering you're comparing modern tech to tech that is at LEAST over half a decade old, this isn't really impressive.

Would be cooler if we had swarms of unmanned autonomous deep-sea vehicles to do this automatically.
