Oh thank god I’m not the only one...

I’ve played Pokemon games in the past, but I was definitely huge into Ingress for almost a year and a half before I got burnt out. It started feeling way too much like work (thanks in large part to a bunch of the local agents I played with), and I was not invested in the story at all. But this... this I feel could be

A Teaspoon and an Open Mind for Whovians. Almost up to 40k stories, can sort by Doctor (also the Sarah Jane adventures and Torchwood), characters, ratings, warnings... I don’t believe it has a “sort by” function though, so the results of your filters DO come out ordered by update date.

I do love AO3, but fanfiction.net still has the numbers (Compare Doctor Who for example: 31k on AO3 to 69k on FF). And there’s plenty of AMAZING stuff in there. You can browse by source material (Book, Comic, TV, etc) or even Crossovers (which really narrows down your options, but it’s still neat to be able to search

SOOO excited for ConMan! I threw my money at that on the day it launched.

“Help Nathan Buy Firefly” had over $1 million pledged from around 12k fans BEFORE it reached its peak and Maurissa Tancharoen stabbed it in the heart. So while I agree that this $3 billion goal is beyond ridiculous, I gotta say that fandoms are capable of some incredible things.

I was thinking the same way, but adjusted for the fact that not everyone ELSE would think that way. I went with 25.

You should always watch Josie. Always.

As someone who didn’t start playing until Cataclysm (which is generally regarded as being the worst thing to happen to the game), I think I can actually speak up on this one. I didn’t know that it was “awful” when I signed up to play, and even once I heard that it was, I STILL loved it. I got my feet wet in the MMORPG

There are too many great fights on BtvS to count and I’m always torn as to which I think is the “best”. And while the final fight scene in Becoming Part 2 is so VERY VERY close, nothing really beats Buffy vs Faith. The fight choreography had never been better, and was never topped, not to mention the emotion behind

I know that it’s not everyone’s favorite installment in the series, but I just love this 1 v 1 v 1 fight scene.

She can kill you with her brain. But also her fists, and feet, and whatever weapons you happen to bring to kill her.

A book that actually lives up to the hype, is timeless, beautifully written... this book is MAGICAL. Seriously. If you haven’t picked it up yet, read just a few of the reviews for this thing on Amazon. This story should, and I hope will, live forever.

Are any of the big fictional languages categorized? Interested to know where Na’vi, Elvish, Klingon, and others fall in.

Awww, thank you! I’m so thrilled that you enjoyed it! I’m with you that it has replaced the shows actual S5 as canon in my mind, which makes watching S6 & S7 a bit weird. I never hated the Dawn/Glory plot either, but when you read this and see how much better it is??

I take “West of the Moon, etc” as canon now too, which makes watching S6&7, uh... interesting.

It would explain why he’s wearing her sweater...

Enjoy! And reply again if you want to talk about it!
