Ultimately this is just fanfic for people who can code. It's a little odd (and obviously obsessive), but its not anymore disrespectful to the creator than someone posting an alternate ending to a movie or book online.

The original isn't Aeris or Aerith, it's エアリス, which transliterates directly to "Earisu," but which could be a transliteration of Aeris or Aerith, because there isn't a "th" sound in Japanese (and "-su" is typically used instead).
Weird achievement, people try to find achievement and fail.
Some idiots are running around thinking that girl from Final Fantasy 7 can be revived. Same situation here.
Somebody minds giving me the short version of this?
Shockwave and all his cassette minions were by far my favorites.
I don't know what society you live in but sexual harassment has laws against it and is indeed stigmatized in our culture. I mean, the whole "cat calls from construction workers" thing is not only frowned upon, there are organizations ready to vent outrage over it before it even happens.
Do you want to live in a world where we regulate what is acceptable by what the worst of us are influenced by? By that reasoning we would have to get rid of anything that could be perceived negative just so the most impressionable of us aren't influenced by it. I think it takes a willingly ignorant individual to blame…
By your logic, we should ban everything. No magazine should be allowed, with photos of women or men in them right? I mean all of them will somehow "reinforce a portion of the culture that is already abundand and problematic" right? Magazines, TV in general, which means advertising has to go, music that references…
You know what this morning i was thinking in in commenting in a post for the first time in my entire life, just to say what you say, because i have read a lot of comments in the past months and l think people are just wishing the things they don't like just disappear, and i think the right think is demand things they…
Underrated post. Why do armchair slacktivists never bother trying to create good games themselves?
My point, at the end of the day, is that less content is just a solution that creates more problems. I'll be honest with you, I'm a Republican, and there are times where I wish liberal media, feminist blogs, and so on would just disappear. But that's not a solution. If I really cared that much (I don't), I'd leave…
"I don't even need to see the whole movie to tell you it's going to be amazing. How can it not be? It's a movie about Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson acting like he's Hercules. "
Hey man, don't oppress my right to ogle unrealistically enormous casabas, you man-hating feminazi!
that's kinda the same argument that was used when tipper gore wanted to restrict music that had dirty language or disturbing lyrics/content. that somehow we're all so stupid and impressionable that we believe the things we see and hear in entertainment as reality. Does listening to a lot of rapper music reinforce a…
Despite actually thinking 'this cast is solid - gonna be great' - I couldn't sit through it - it's on a short list of like 3-4 movies I just couldn't make myself finish - not that *any* performance is actually bad - it's just a really horrible story (IMO)
Everyone I have talked to about it has the same thing to say, "Did you see Pain and Gain? Yeah? It wasn't bad right? Yeah weird... Michael Bay too? Yeah weird. The Rock was pretty great in it right?"
No Southland Tales?
How do you not mention The Rundown in this article?! The whole "I don't use guns... because bad things happen when I use guns" thing was more than a little over the top (is that you Doctor?!), but it was a very fun movie otherwise.
You also get Sean William Scott, Rosario Dawson and Christopher Walken all in fairly…
Not only Rundown but Southland Tales. Say what you want about the movie but The Rock's Performance in it is excellent.
