I'm using it, but it seems like if you have a PIN lock set, you stop getting desktop notifications when it engages. Then, the next time you unlock your phone, you get a flurry of notifications on the desktop. So...possibly not so useful if you lock your phone.

Adding my plus one. I was seriously looking forward to the tips.

I've shifted to using dry toiletries for almost all of my carry-on only trips. Lush makes shampoo, conditioner, and soap bars that are faboo, and they offer toothpaste tabs that you crush in your teeth and then brush that leave me minty fresh. My deoderant is a solid stick. I use single serve towelette wipes that

This is a great idea. Right now, about once a week, I go through the process of checking all the weekly ads for a deal on diet soda. Why diet soda? You can buy it in bulk without it going bad, and it's something we use pretty regularly and have certain brand loyalties (generic won't do). If this app grabbed that

So, Gmail/Google wants me to trust them to categorize my email correctly. Last week, Gmail started tossing all my Amazon order notifications into Spam. I had to put a filter in place to stop it. A few months ago, Gmail decided that billing notifications from my utilities were spam, and that caused some pain as I

FWIW, I had and loved those 3-in-1 sheets, but then I read reviews that they were leaving oily stains in clothes. Sure enough, in the time we were using them, I kept finding these oily stains, but I thought it was from something we were touching or doing around the house. I suspect that problem has something to do

I just moved to Seattle a couple of months ago and have made the shift to public transit for my commute. I live in the city limits, and I take the bus to and from work every day. The tips in the article are great. If you can't test run the routes in advance, give your manager a heads up that you are using transit

I'm a little worried that they blew their wad in that trailer. Doesn't it feel like it gave away too much of what's going to happen?

For groups of friends or individual friends, you have to go in and tell Facebook that you only want to see updates and not comments, likes, games, etc. It's painful and annoying, particularly because Facebook seems to conveniently forget what you've told it every now and then.

I actually suspect that the opposite is true. That is, bras would be helpful to guys, too, but the fact that it's a gendered garment keeps guys from wearing them. I suspect those "moobs" would feel better if they were supported. And let me tell you, on a cold and windy day in Chicago, I'm super happy I have that

Rather than not calling people fat (or thin), I'd rather that parents trying to set examples for their kids did call people fat (or thin) but did it in the same tone and delivery as they call people short or tall. Just use an even tone and never ever use the words as insults. Otherwise, by excluding the word

Yep, same here. I started running, and for winter running, I'd wear yoga pants. Once I realized the comfort that is yoga pants, my jeans all started feeling like scratchy horribleness. And it's not like yoga pants look all slumpy like sweatpants. They actually look really good on me (based on my own judging of me

I know. That comment made me want to be Jamie's friend.

What about PR images? For example, if Megacorp puts out a ton of photos to promote Megamovie, are those alright to use for criticism or comment on Megamovie? Only if you're in the "real press" and get a kit or...? (And, does anyone know a good way to get yourself onto lists that would get you at least the digital

I tried using grapeseed oil for awhile, and it definitely made a grapey flavor happen. Moreso, it made my whole kitchen smell like grapes.

I admit I hadn't thought of it that way until your post, but now I'm feeling a little bothered by it, too. I think your questions are legitimate. Even if the intent of the performers is good, there may be some gender issues that are troublesome underneath.

Well, first...whatever clothes you think look good, look good. If you love wrap dresses, then you look good in them. My comments really should have been tinged more with fit than looking good, I suppose, because the wrap dress as a concept fits certain body shapes better than others.

Exactly. This is only gender based because different genders were involved. The same situation could have occurred with a man overhearing the men or women overhearing women. Acting like it was somehow okay for her to take the most extreme response because she's a woman talking to men is ridiculous.
