Agree totally on Roaman's, JL, and WW. Simply Be, though, is pretty darn cool, and they have a wide range of styles.

That's a really cool idea. Is there any website that lists the fairs at various places? How do you hear about them?

The thing is, unless I have some way of knowing or being told that you carry my size, I'm far less likely to even walk in the door or ask. Fat women assume stores don't carry our size, because stores typically don't. You add to that a culture that tells us we should be ashamed to even ask for our size or complain

That is exactly what this reads like. Einstein was Sheldon Cooper. I bet he had a plan for if the house was in distress.

Oh, it is the very best thing ever. It's in this little teeny town that has a super 8, the Lands' End warehouse, and not much else. It's near a bunch of roadside attractions like Cave on the Mounds and the House on the Rock and stuff. And, best of all, they have all sorts of stuff marked down at least by half,

I was all ready to order from them, but I read a ton of reviews online saying that the custom fit rarely does actually fit and that the fabrics are thin and threadbare. I'm really torn on giving them a try now. I get nervous ordering a custom fit when I'm not confident in the company doing it.

One minor correction: Please don't stand at the belt to put your shoes on unless you are 100% sure you can slip them on quickly. Almost every airport post-9/11 has benches or chairs just past the belt that you can use to sit down, get your shoes back on, and recombobulate. (MKE even labels this the "Recombobulation

I'm with you. We do bareback now, but I truly miss the condom days. I hate having goo between my thighs right after, or having to run to the bathroom to wash out. It was so much easier when we just pulled off the rubber and tossed it into the specially designated wastebin.

I'm curious about the necessity of prescription swim/water goggles. Is the goal of them to be able to see outside of the water rather than in the water?

I did a project not unlike this for a sliding shelf in a basement space. (I needed it to be able to easily move to access our main water shutoff valve in an emergency.) One piece of advice is to look for a way to mount it on a rail or anchor it up top somehow. The Ikea shelves-on-wheels concept is great until you

Does anyone know how long lime slices retain their flavor after having been frozen? I'm hoping it is forever, because then I will stock up on limes for all my flavor needs!

Where is this cutest red panda necklace that you speak of?

I went over there to blow some cash specifically in response to the Moms v. Ellen debacle, to support JCP for standing by Ellen, and I was really happy with the store in general. Their plus size section was still relatively homely (unfortunately), but the accessories and homewares were nice. I love the new "rounded"

1) I just love how everyone knows how to tell a fat person what to do with their body. It's kind of like how everyone likes to tell women what they can do with their body. It's incredibly condescending and insulting. Your body is your body, and my body is my body. Let's just agree to stop telling each other what

So you can catch both fat and thin socially? Can you catch "medium" socially?

Why? The important thing is that people have a choice, not that choices are forced upon them. There's nothing wrong with eating a cupcake.

I'll say that my experience is totally at Walt Disney World (WDW). I don't know that Disneyland has the same policies.

I'm saying this on a bunch of other comments saying the same thing yours is, so to sum up: it is easy and just as cheap to eat healthy food in WDW. You can also bring in your own food from outside the parks. So...yeah...not at all true.

Seconding others saying this isn't true. It's very easy to eat healthy foods at Disney World. It's also possible to eat sweets and processed junk all day long. It's up to you. :)

That's not at all true. You can bring a full picnic lunch with you into WDW. One of the podcasts I listen to even brought a full Thanksgiving dinner, with a whole turkey and all the usual sides, into the Magic Kingdom. You can bring in your own sodas, your own water...whatever you want in terms of food or drink,
