This is my first time attempting to photograph the Milky Way. Shot was taken about 1:30am in Oxford, WI
Went to Chicago for the JP Morgan Marathon on 2017-05-25. I was so exaugsted from the event and the 4 hour drive to get there (after working my day jab for 9hours too), I forgot my tri-pod. I was able to capture a few handheld photos. This trip may be worthy of another visit.
Last week I was granted the luxury to photograph our team group photo while our CEO of DJO Global Corporation was on-site. For the large group photo I’ve decided to go with a panorama to capture the entire scene. Overall, I’d say the shoot was a success.
Was attempting to find something with my son, we ended up trying to photograph light trails during sunset. Final result I thought was nice.
He’s a coming.
How cold was it for your morning commute. Here in Mequon, WI, it was a balmy -10F
Not car related but still a lot of smart people here. Well we had some strong wind today and the little guy didn't close the front storm door all the way. The outside door light broke (not too worried about). But the pumpy thingy that helps close the door pulled part of the door frame out, but not fully. Wondering…
Recently photographed a wedding for an interesting couple. Was wondering what others think of some of the final edits.
Had a little bit of time last night to pull out the camera. So took a 45 minute exposure of the sky. Kind of like it. hopefully next time I'll have a few hours to dedicate to this to make it better. Let me know what you think.
Just sharing a photo shoot I did recently. Really enjoy it here sometimes.
Did a photo shoot for a classic garage. No waiting room no magazines just music and you chatting with the mechanic. Let me know what you think.
Finally got an HDR to work out that didn't look all goofy. Let me know what you think.
This is from a personal collection, full resolution photo, feel free to download.
Adding one more because racecar.
Went to Road America over the weekend, had three kids with me, so couldn't walk around too much. Got 400 pictures to go through yet, hopefully I'll be able to post them soon.
Not car related but still cool.
Friday we had a fast moving lightning storm (moving at 50mph). Here are some of the results.
When photographing newborn, infants, small children its good to have variety. Get in close, show perspective, add their siblings in the photo. Don't use flash directly, if need be use indirect, can be bad for their eyes and may startle them. Also add props when needed, but mostly be safe.
Finally got out last night, got a picture of a building. Here is one of my examples of symmetrical photograph. Bonus internet point for those who know the building.
We here in the northern states (at least I am.) are tired of cold weather, more snow coming, hasn't been above 30F in two months, ahhh...
