I use the default Google Play Music, because it lets me upload 20,000 songs to the cloud for free, and lets me cache my favorite songs/albums/playlists.

If it's Android and you're rooted, you can use a CPU clocking app to preserve battery life. My phone lasts all day long, pretty much regardless of what I'm doing with it (Netflix, reading, Pandora, PS1/SNES roms...)

I thought that myself (I'm a CODA, but we were more fans of the Treo line.)

Sandisk Sansa clip? Or get an Android phone/older iPod Touch.

?_?

Nintendo needs a younger keynote speaker, I think. This guy is just too old to relate to the generation of players they're catering to. He tries to sound like Jobs without the product that Jobs would market. :P

Ditto to this. Gutenberg ftw.

Who's 'our'?

No, it wastes less battery life that way. Your statement is riddled with hipster ignorance. Bluetooth/wifi can reduce your laptop's battery life by more than an hour. Even when I had wifi tether on my Android phone + laptop, I used USB tether instead. It wasted less of the laptop's battery to keep the phone charged

I watch videos on my 3.8 inch screen all the time. It's better than reading in the car with only the nightmode on a Palm Visor Neo, which I did for years.

True dat.

This thread +100.

I thought this was happening until I realized the Facebook app does this for EVERYTHING.

*cough* yep...

No, that happens that way on Android too. It's exactly the same. But it doesn't give me nearly as many options for upload, like my Groups on Facebook.

Fair enough. Though 21, I consider myself 'older' mentally. Some people say I have an old spirit. Can I be silly and childish? Yes. But at heart, I'm a bit more serious.

You have a great wife ;)

It's not a simple matter of learning language 'x' to do that. I can read lips to a degree because I am hard of hearing, and part of the Deaf community because of my Deaf father.

Nah, you'd be the boss.
