Sounds like you don’t understand the message.

We’ve come a LONG way in a relatively short period of time, and I was probably the only guy who had Xbox memory cards because of my paranoia of data loss. Even though the Xbox and the 360 shipped with an HDD, I would backup my saves on memory cards religiously. At least until the 360 supported external storage.

They didn’t underestimate the draw of vanilla. They’re only doing it because there is enough of a demand for it, but to say that it’s going to be a massive success based on some random twitch streams is going a bit far.

Yeah, no. Not in this case anyway. It’s probably expensive, but this isn’t a “look at me I’m rich” type of thing. It’s 100% for shock value.

Nope

dash cam would answer questions, but even he admits he saw sparks before he got out. Unless they’re claiming the cops somehow caused the sparks?

“I just know that the car wasn’t on fire when I got out the car. I would have stayed in that car with my daughter,”

It’s already too late to go back, and I would argue that most people wouldn’t want to go back even if they had the choice.

You’re reading too much into this. The backlash during the original announcement was largely due to the fact that nobody from MS could even explain their plan, which left people to their own conclusions.

You can take your 360 copy of Mass Effect, insert it into an Xbox One and play the game. There is a download, but there is no purchase. So yes, that’s backwards compatibility.

Sony doesn’t have a solution, whoever is making the SSD does. And as time has gone on it’s be come less of an issue in the consumer space.

They didn’t use anti-semitic epithets.

No it’s not, not even close. Because if it were they would have already been sued.

Computer science 101? This has been the discussion since the name change beta was announced months ago. Sony essentially broke one of the most important rules of database design.

This, but for me it’s wildly inconsistent. 90% of the time Spotify will pickup where it left off, but occasionally music from iTunes will play. And for no rhyme or reason. The only hypothesis I have is sometimes Spotify will update or be closed in the background, and as soon as my car connects my phone just defaults

Sony got close with the PS3. Top end SKU was $600 at launch.

Ubnt’s AmpliFi consumer line is actually really good too. I have a similar setup at my place (IT guy as well), but I got my parents the AmpliFi system and I couldn’t be happier. I say I because I haven’t gotten a single WiFi related 911 call in several months now.

Problem is it’s becoming more than occasional. Sure it doesn’t happen often, but in the past chrome was much more stable which is why everyone allowed it to auto update. Now not so much.

It’s clear he’s trying to manipulate viewers. Nobody is disputing that. What makes it funny is how low he’s sinking in his attempts to manipulate viewers. Nobody is falling for it and it’s literally laughable.

You say dumb, but the initial v72 release wreaked havoc in our environment a few weeks back. Even our Linux users ran into issues, and they’re usually pretty stable. A few patches later and everything was fine, but we basically had to tell people to use FF or Edge for a week until the next update came out.
