So unimportant that you felt the need to reply a month later... OK. Regardless, there's nothing "ridiculous" about my comment. I presented you facts disproving your original statement, so end of story.

If you don't like your employers policies, leave. Don't break policy and then complain when you get punished.

Should have thought about that before they made the comment.

Ok, and? They still broke policy (regardless of what we may think about it) and got fired. Life lesson.

Not really. Common sense says don't piss where you sleep, so why do you think it's OK to talk about your employer and nothing happen?

What it warrants isn't up to us, it's up to MS and if their policy states that "unprofessional" behavior is met with termination, then so be it.

"I don't know man. I googled it. Internets says they use linux."

I don't think I'm particularly funny, but I know I'm smarter than you.

Where did he answer the question? All he did was rant. But yes, at this point all we're doing is speculating and will have to wait on Valve to make an official announcement.

Pot meet kettle

You didn't answer his question, you just went on a linux fanboy rant. He wasn't bashing linux, he was making a valid point. 99% of games run on Windows, so why would they use linux over Windows?

So, if I install Windows on it can I get those features? If so, why would I buy this over a traditional PC? I'm still trying to figure out how the Steam Box is better than me just connecting my PC to the TV and using big picture mode.

"All Steam games are currently being ported to Linux..."

It's relevant enough to get the latest tech goodies and services before everyone else. Not saying it's not with out it's flaws (like every other country) but it's far from irrelevant.

As long as it doesn't interfere with his work, who cares?

And what motivations would those be? Because from where I'm sitting I just see a group of people who hack servers and release people's personal information, which goes against the whole "Anonymous" mantra.

Really hope you're joking, because if not...

Think he was alluding to the fact that Anonymous always talks about protecting people from things like this, but are never anywhere to be found when cases like this show up. Add to that the insinuation that they're children.

People who go to great lengths to create tombs like this probably have the ego to go with it, thus spending time and effort to get to their tomb is probably exactly what they wanted. To be discovered and remembered forever.
