Battery life is one of the main reasons I keep my kindle around. It can go for weeks, if not months on a single charge.

Gotta go with Tom on this one. I'll agree that it was done in somewhat poor taste, but the guy had it coming regardless.

First, being rich doesn't have anything to do with "rise above". Second, he's human and like all humans can only take being poked and prodded at for so long until responding in kind.

Just because they're an improvement doesn't mean they still don't suck. Most, if not all earbuds included with devices suck, and these are no different.

True, but the Zune wasn't competing with the shuffle. Not directly anyway. People who were looking at a shuffle probably wouldn't want a Zune or even an iPod touch for that matter.
