I shared your paid sentiment. I understand people don't like the metro start, but to pay $5 for a glorified logon script? No thanks.

I've been running the RTM since day one, and tend to agree. I have this love/hate relationship with the start menu. I like the simplicity of it, but hate that it takes me away from what I'm doing when I open it. That said, it doesn't happen often but it is a bit jarring when it does.
If you really don't like the new start menu, why not just stay on Windows 7?
Egg drop soup w/ wantons
Lets be honest, the majority of people commenting and/or "whining" about the ads would probably get a Nexus 7 or some other Android tablet anyway. So this whole thing is kinda pointless.
MIMO has been around for ages. If you bought your router within the last 5 years, its a good chance you have it.
I know MIMO has been around for ages, but is this the first tablet to use it? I just assumed that it was one of those unspoken features that's baked into everything by now.
Are you saying that no one will use the tech, or no one will buy a Kindle? If so, you're wrong on both points.
Never because it wasn't a mistake.
To be fair, this has probably been in development for awhile. So instead of throwing all those R&D dollars out the window, might as well try to recoup some of that money.
You mean like gambling? That's essentially what investing is, and just like going to the casinos you have to exercise common sense and restraint. If you go in and lose everything, its nobody's fault but your own.
I NEVER shutdown my computers, Macs or PCs. Not for any specific reason other than because I just don't.
Ha, That's actually the one I got for my parents. Newer version but essentially the same, and yes it sounds great.
I bought one for my parents last xmas and it actually sounds pretty good. They didn't need anything like 5.1, but they did need something better than the crappy built-in speakers on the TV.
Your initial comment was a trolling comment, so don't try to play victim. Because of that fact, anything anyone says to or about you is of your own doing.
I don't speak for everyone, but I have no problem having a "gazillion" ports. In fact, I would take ports over thinness any day. Its nice knowing that where ever I go, I don't have to have a different adapter to connect to a projector, tv, etc.
I wouldn't drop $80 on it, but there is still a fairly sizable demand for cassette to mp3 services. Just like there's still a demand for VHS to DVD services even though DVDs are on their way out.
Because they like something you don't?
