They're keyboards and mice are notable. They used to do a lot more, but the Xbox is the first (and only I can think of) that had major issues

That second quote pretty much sums it up, they're scared. And they should be because even in vaporware form, the surface is better than ANYTHING Acer could ever hope to come up with.

Because the soldiers on the ground actually fighting the war are the same people making stupid engineering decisions? Even one of the pilots spoke out against them, so you can get off your high horse.

You haven't been hacked, your friend has. Think of it this way, if a site that you use gets hacked and they get your email address, have you been "hacked"? No, because your accounts are still intact.

I wonder how many people now use that as their password?

Because they got hacked, that's why you should take their advice. The purpose of this is to learn from their mistakes.

Worked for me. Wen't through the play site, clicked install and it showed up on my phone a few seconds later.

"One patent has the depth camera going portable: a "mobile environment sensor" determines its trajectory through a room and generates a depth map as it goes, whether it's using a Kinect-style infrared sensor or stereoscopic cameras. Thats what Google Voice is for

This is exactly the way to do it. It may take more time, but the end result is cleaner

This isn't new. This has been in iOS since day one and they were just now granted the patent

They didn't let them burn out. Did you read the article?

Think you forgot a zero

Its not a matter of what you "feel like spending" in this case, its what you have to spend. If you expect people to pay for your music, it needs to sound professional and not like a YouTube video, and that means that you'll need better equipment.

Not only is that idea ridiculous, you still haven't addressed the issue of piracy. People used to argue that if music was cheap and DRM free, it wouldn't exist. Yet, you can get songs for $.99 with no DRM and people still download it regardless.

"here are three million fools who are still paying for AOL dial-up Internet. WHHHHHHY?"

Still don't understand the point of a browser on a console, much less IE

Definitely have to agree with you on that one. I too used to work in a university environment and we had 2 "super" labs, one with 80 macs and one with 80 pcs. The macs died almost as frequently as the PCs did, only difference is to repair them we either had to take them to the nearest Apple store (45 minutes away) or
