Great article! There's a scene in The Hunt for Red October where Jack Ryan is briefing the powers that be about the situation, and he says something to the effect that major Soviet naval assets have been suddenly deployed, "including a Kirov-class".

A great piece of planelopnik! The MiG-25 is like a lot of bat shit crazy planes of the era. Huge power, questionable survivability and the desire to instill fear in your opponents.
There was a story many years ago about the MIG 25's entry from prototype status into service had early issues with many landing crashes with fatalities. The pilots were attempting dead stick landings instead of ejecting when they had fires or engine failures.
I'll bet this is helluva lot faster than my 12 Boss 302, but I've enjoyed mine as a DD for two and a half years at 4/7th the price!
Yep, they just lost me at $70k. When I tested the ZL1 it was fucking incredible for $55k, but I don't see any of them on the streets here in "car heaven" LA, because I suspect even that's too much money for most people to spend on a Camaro. I know you get ceramics, but $70k is $4k more than the C7/Z51/Magnetic car I…
So, this won't be out until around the same time we hope to see 2014.5 Mustangs that are now smaller and lighter with the same Coyote and has IRS?
Not sure they've brought enough for a 70k car.

I want to like Halestorm, but my god are they derivative and generic and boring.
You couldn't have said it better. I completely agree.
I live in Buffalo and I wanted to check it out. My cousin who lives closer to the skyway said there is no getting anywhere close tho. Pretty cool tho, I love driving over the skyway! Great view of the city and the water.
I am not asking this to be sarcastic in any way; I'm actually genuinely curious:
@RandRace: We did not train Osama and his pals. Very early on in the Russo-Afghan conflict the US flirted with backing them, but ultimately both parties rejected each other, and the US instead supported more mentally stable fighters. That is how the Taliban came into power, as you would know if you did anything more…
