I feel somewhere along the line bath salts will make an introduction.
This exact car, perhaps with a few updates to the electronics, satnav, and wheel choices, would be an instant seller. This style still looks completely at home on the streets of Manhattan or Beverly Hills - refined and subtle but still imposing and Teutonic. This is the all-pro lineman with a taste for high-end suits…
Autotempest - wow, amazing site. I think I just blew five grand.
I'm hoping something to do with a prolapsed rectum.
I thought I spotted a '65 Belvedere in there! Nice! Reminds me of the Candymatic or even Color Me Gone in that scheme.

Heh, not to sound "beat this" or trying to one-up, but I have a similar story - the wiper linkage in my '68 Mustang snagged one of the cable controls for the defroster blend door at a similar speed - effectively stopping both the wipers and snapping shut the blend door. Instantly blind!
Oooof. That '67 GS 400 got me going.
