Yeah, I noticed that too :P.
Yeah, I noticed that too :P.
While I agree at first it seemed like that, I think your second point trumped your first: there's no use sailing for hours if there's barely anything to see. I absolutely love exploring in Skyrim, and I have clocked up way more hours than my friends because I eschewed using fast travel for so long. But it was far more…
I think that was pretty good myself, concentrated on what small fan films can do well, rather than try action scenes or setpieces with rubbish CGI. It made me care about the characters, which is rather good considering.
Agreed, plus Monopoly is a lot shorter than other classic board games like RISK.
I think that's the sum of it, the game revolves around those puzzles and the knowledge you build up around them. So until you can understand those puzzles, the gameplay is going to be fairly lost on you I think. Plus spoileriffic stuff that might be deemed more interesting isn't being shown obviously.
So true.
I quite like him as well, mainly because of the reasons Luke has given - he's damn passionate. And that's what makes a good game developer in my book. And you know what, tact is overrated, people get offended too easily anyway.
Oh yes, you're right, I'd got it mixed up with the fact I can't get my hands back on my Wii U until June when I come back home from University. At least my sister can enjoy playing NSMBU until then...
And same, I didn't really buy anything on the Wii except OoT.
I'm gonna chime in as well and say I loved Skyward Sword (especially because of the Motion Plus). The game has a lot of flaws with regards to repetitive fetch quests, the tears of light missions being horrible and obligatory, and having to fight the same boss over and over (that last one might be a plus for some…
I definitely agree on the count of ALttP being a deeper, more inventive adventure. Of course, it's easier for that to be the case in a 2D world, but the fact that I played it for the first time on GBA years later along with all the other handheld Zeldas, and still think it's probably the pinnacle of the series…
I think it's because firstly they're only releasing NES and SNES games for now, which we have had PLENTY of time to replay over the years. Inevitably, the most recent stuff that people most want to buy is being left until the end, and all the while there are barely any main releases on the Wii U to distract from that.…
Agreed, that would make me much more likely to actually buy a 3DS.
And the angel Gabriel said unto Breen Malmberg, 'be offended, for the Lord knows that if you do not, no-one will take Him seriously, and shallow religious symbolism will become a thing to be oft mocked'. But the other angel said unto Breen, 'lay off it Gabriel, God's all-seeing and all-powerful, he won't give a shit…
I get what you mean, but it is a tough ask. It really stretches at the mind to have to think of an alien race that is fundamentally different, I mean we've never seen that happen. The most interesting thing is probably the case of morality. Most races had a similar sort of moral compass (broadly similar), whereas I…
Anything that helps me to empathise/sympathise better with others is a great experience to have I think.
Agreed, but the saving grace is that you can use any Bluetooth controller, so I think a sideways Wii controller is going to be my best bet for emulation
I KNOW. So much agreement. And it all makes me want to kiss Ken Levine and his sound peoples.
Nor did I know it had all the pistons for all the moving bits, nice to know it's got most of the good stuff now.
Indeed.
Really? I would've thought VR would work best with the first-person perspective. The idea is immersion right?
