Doesn't work for me I'm afraid, in Chrome OR Internet Explorer. Just a white square with a slider on it.

Wahey! I love it :D. You're right, it seems that all most gamers ever want is the same old, same old.

Let's face it, that's not really an insult is it now?

I almost fell for that, almost :P. But it's strangely satisfying seeing a fake confession, and it's exactly the point I was gonna make, so now I don't need to post about that XD.

I think it's just gonna go up on the normal eShop until they have a proper VC storefront up in May or whenever it is. I could be wrong though.

I disagree, that's a condition you've made yourself. There are plenty of 'sequels' out there you can enjoy as a separate experience from the original titles, as long as you choose to ignore that they are related in more than a tenuous way. Why are people unable to do that with Devil May Cry? I remember a similar thing

Oh man, I remember one birthday I asked for Super Mario Advance 4, and my Nan got Superstar Saga by accident bless her. I hadn't heard of it and I was kinda disappointed at the time, but hot DAMN once I started playing it I realised it was a way better game than Super Mario Advance 4, absolutely loved it. Partners in

Well, if I played them nowadays I don't think I'd like them as much. But they're pretty much Western JRPGs with a cool story. There ARE grindy dungeons sometimes, which I wouldn't be too keen on now, but the powers and puzzles make it more interesting than your usual, so there's kind of an Adventure game element

Oh man, did we ever find out if Metroid Dread was ever actually in development? I remember they thought a scan entry in MP3 hinted at it, but I haven't heard anything since :(. I loved the 2D Metroid games on the GBA.

But why does the name matter? It doesn't necessarily make a promise. It's your own expectations that are the problem if you want it to be something it simply isn't.

I agree so much, there is an absolutely ridiculous amount of entitlement in gaming. And it frustrates the heck out of me. I remember a thread on Reddit complaining about people saying 'entitled', and claimed that it was totally fine to blackmail, complain, criticise in a non-constructive way, tell the developer to

While I'm sure others differ on this, I totally agree personally. I played DMC4 and the story was bladdy awful, and completely non-believable. The style and combat are far more important, and I think I preferred what I played in the new DmC demo. Fed up of all of this whining now I've played that and found out it is

I kinda get you, and there's a balance to be had there. I know quite often I felt a bit like the game was making me do all these silly, different things like the silent guardians that were hard and frustrating, and it made me wish they were optional so I could do them when I felt like a challenge.

Sadly, while my dad used to play Gran Turismo 3 with me back in the day, he's never played anything other than Wii Sports since. Main reason: he hasn't got the patience. Or at least, he doesn't see games as worth the patience. It's not a dislike of violence or lack of time either, as he'll happily sit down and watch

While that is a bit extreme, I kind of agree. I mean, The Walking Dead game was great, but the reason it was great was the emotions, not the zombies. It would've worked well in any apocalypse scenario. I just would like to see a bit more originality out there.

I'm with you on that. My only other gripe is I game on PC predominantly, and the price of games on Wii U are absolutely tear-inducing for my wallet. Most are still retailing at £40-50 here in the UK, about £10 more on average than Xbox 360 or PS3 titles.

It does seem it doesn't it. The worst thing is that one guy looks like he really thinks about it each time. Dude, if you have to think about it, it's not really offensive now is it?

I have a 560 Ti and I can max out every game there is (except GTA IV, bloody awful port), so while it may be 'mid range' compared to the best parts you can buy, it's not 'mid range' in terms of performance really. You could certainly pay much less and still get a decent gaming experience on the PC.

Fair enough, although for me I find it boring sitting around waiting for something to happen. Thankfully, games give you options, which is why we all play them :D.

'We play games to win, right? Winning is the entire point.'
