I heard simply poor mood, poor diet and lack of exercise weaken your immune system. If that's true, I would've thought all 3 would occur more in winter.

Mm, it wasn't particularly thoroughly researched I agree, although I still learnt a lot from what seemed solid enough to stand on. I did actually believe the first myth :/, my whole family indicated so, and they're not idiots, so I never questioned such a simple thing. In fact, I'm sure a lot of people I know believe…
That would just massively annoy me if I saw people doing that. What is the point!?
Ah really! Did Kotaku run the story? Because I'm very surprised I missed that news :|. And to think it was one of the major reasons I bought my Xbox as well. Between this and L.A.Noire, I think I may delay buying new games for the Xbox from now on. Thanks for the heads up.
Alan Wake appeared in Steam's files somewhere, perhaps it will be out in the near future for PC?
Interesting you say that. But in African culture bigger women are lauded as more attractive. And I know it has been found that cavemen shaped statuettes of fat women. While having big boobs and big hips are obviously still meant to symbolise fertility, surely that demonstrates society still has an impact on something…
Since that joke was received unanimously as serious, surely you have to understand it was worded and looked entirely seriously. Lol, I suppose the 'psychoevaluation' was necessary after me saying it. We've both proven that it doesn't work over the internet though, as I'm pretty happy (I base my life around trying to…
Well, it's just an extension of the nature vs. nurture debate, which I think is largely opinion and very little fact for most people (not that I've looked at any scientific papers). But the open definition of gender as a societal construct does appear to me to explain why 'homosexual' people are oppressed (it scares…
The quote insulting evolutionary psychologists is brilliant XD, but it does hammer home the point yes. I have been guilty of off-handedly saying oh men or women must be good at X skill because of Y thing in past, but it's nothing more than conjecture. I'd say it's because we like to feel as if we can explain…
You are a sad man. Princess Whoosh is right, evolutionary psychology is an assumption reached through looking at trends, it is far and away from conclusive or correct, so I would not count on it to make a point. Of course it COULD be correct, but I'm personally more on the side that men creating society has skewed the…
Perhaps you are correct (although, honestly, I'm dubious because I love this guy), what pictures does this pale in comparison too? I'd like to see them :).
Yes, that did catch me out. It's funny I didn't think of that myself without it being explicitly mentioned, but I would like to point out it's just a facet of our society. Women ARE related more to sexual assault and rape even though it is fallacious :/. So yes, the writers got it wrong, but mainly so has society.
I like this comment. A lot. ^_^.
That's a fantastic argument. The main problem is gender outside of physicality is difficult to define, and yet it HAS been defined by society (by men really, although mostly unintentional or in a deluded fashion). I have a girlfriend that defies a fair few stereotypes, but I know she's much less of a passive figure. A…
I have been waiting for Big Picture Mode since they announced it in March, better be good after all this time for a UI change :P.
I am sort of worried as well. A lot of 'chill out!' comments, but I'm not buying it personally. I think the whole multiplayer thing is strange to add on a third outing. It kind of shows their attitude, it's becoming more about mass appeal than great story and consistency between titles in the trilogy. Mass Effect 2…
Well, you can always pirate it and buy the cartridge to make yourself feel better. I've always thought that if you can obtain the game, do so. If that means illegally, then buy the cartridge anyway XD. If it's ridiculously expensive to get hold of, I don't think anyone will blame you for just letting that one slide :P.
Seconded, they're my favourite Zelda's, but probably because they're the first ones I played.
So true, the Oracles were perfect for gaming brothers XD. I had Oracle of Seasons and my brother had Oracle of Ages. Preferred Ages really aha, but I think everyone did marginally.
Oh no, I nearly bought The Longest Journey in the Steam Sale but decided it looked too dated. I now massively regret this. *Le sigh*.
