I’m hearing someone sidestepping an issue they don’t want to acknowledge... and pretending that they are mature by doing so. You are free to live with whatever delusions you’d like.

As far as I recall (and I could be mistaken) they simply repeated the mantra that it’s ‘settled law’... but that isn’t an admission that you would uphold it, or that you believe it was decided correctly, it’s just an acknowledgment that a ruling was given on the subject and that the ruling exists.

They’ll just refuse to take up the case.  This isn’t a Supreme Court anymore, it’s a theocratic cabal.
