Quick question: should your view always be held in high regard on all issues of race because you are non-white? Does "I'm offended" always mean "This is offensive"?

She didn't adopt a child from Africa so she could use the word 'nigga'. Please stop being so ridiculous, it makes you look genuinely unhinged.
I hope you're not actually crazy enough to believe that.
I liked her until she was a judge on X Factor, at which point I grew to hate her :( She was so annoying and stupid. Her comments consisted of her repeating "shut it down" incessantly.
It's not about different opinions or experiences, it's about medical fact. Someone not dying of heart disease while obese does not disprove there is a link between serious medical problems and obesity, just like a single woman rising to CEO level does not disprove institutional sexism within an organisation.
no one is saying that pointing out that there are negative health consequences to obesity is fat shaming.
Actually I've had discussions with people on this website who have point blank told me that there is no link between negative health consequences and being obese "because I'm classified as obese and I run a marathon every day and have perfect blood pressure and bla bla bla". It is lunacy.
But what would be the point? I thought being fat had no negative health consequences according to the deranged Jezebel fatstremists.

I would quite like tapas-sized portions of food from every state ;-)
I think it's also to do with cars. I feel like in the US you pretty much need a car everywhere other than NYC, whereas in many other countries/cities around the world, you can cycle, walk or get other public transport.
US portions are insane. I think that's what most people realise when they first step foot in a US eatery. Even thing likes McDonalds portions are significantly larger in the US. I once made the mistake of supersizing my McDonalds meal when I was in NYC and when I saw how large the cardboard packaging was for the…
No matter how polite we fat people are, or if we have the temerity to act like a "Normal" person, it will never be enough. It will always be our fault, because we always, always, always have to justify discrimination or Othering occurrences.
If you have a problem with people acting as if they are above he law, why is this woman exempt?
I get that the U.S. authorities should not have subjected her to a strip search and that it was bad diplomacy
I replied to Zombie but they dismissed my response (probably because they were stumped) but I shall repost it to you for your thoughts:
