This completely pissed me off too. I can't even imagine why these girls didn't support her.

I would disagree on the death penalty part. I think a far greater punishment would be to put them in prison as adults (for a long time) and let them see what rape feels like.

Bingo! I've always gotten that question from pro-lifers. "What if your mom had aborted you?" I always answer that I wouldn't have known the difference. Then they tell me I'm being disingenuous. I qualify my answer by saying that 1) I was wanted, and 2) I'm nobody special, so why should it matter?

A new study? Hell, I've known this for years. That's one of the reasons I wear glasses instead of contacts. The second reason is they help kind of hide my dark circles.
