Kelly didn't just come up with the "not too fat to run" idea out of nowhere. This is the woman's platform based on her experience - the word fat is even in the title of her site. I appreciate your need to get ragey about Jez articles, but I think you've misfired here.

Cats or GTFO.

Japan is officially insane.

Truth. Vegas is a money making staged machine. The hot girl at the bar who smiled at you is more than likely paid to accept a cocktail. The pool talent is paid talent as well. You came to throw money—we catch.

Oh, because he's a douche. I'm not saying he's not. If he thinks he potentially has a group of 15 hot girls on the hook, he's going to chase it—these guys live and die by how many girls they bring in. He's basically negging her trying to get her to send pictures.

You really don't read, do you?

I get that, but why get uber-douchey when she basically said, "thanks but no thanks." She was content walking away.

This is what happens when you try to get free shit from sleazy people.

Agreed. I don't know why people are so shocked that he wanted to see pictures of them. Promoters in general will give you stuff if you are attractive because that's who they want at their events. However, the guy should have stopped messaging her when she declined his offer. That makes him a little desperate.

I was vegetarian for a really long time and started eating fish about five years ago. I sometimes now eat poultry or red meat or pork, but not often. Out of habit and also because I am typically cooking for one. When I go to pot lucks or have people over for dinner, I always make a bunch of vegan stuff so that

I've lived in places where vegans thrive. New York City, Athens, GA, and Washington DC.

I am also ex-vegan. I believe that veganism can be healthy for some/many people.

I agree that the anti-vegan evangelism is frustrating. Equally frustrating is when an ex-vegan is told that s/he must have 'done it wrong.' They were eating disordered, or ate only junk foods, or didn't pay attention to getting diversity,

I honestly don't think most Americans care much one way or the other. The people who do care, however, tend to side with Israel, so that's pretty much been how our policy has been decided.

"As a Jew, and as someone who has been raised to always support Israel (which, according to my parents, is my spiritual home, although I have never been)"

Two of my great pals are cool vegans who aren't jerks to their non-vegan friends, but man, they have some REALLY shitty friends. I understand not all vegans are judgey jerks, but the joke "How do you know someone is a Vegan? - Don't worry, they'll tell you. " exists for a reason.

Some of the comments on there were people who accused her of using an eating disorder as an "excuse" to leave veganism. THAT IS FUCKED UP.

You know what would be a great source of protein? That passive-aggressive friend.

Younger's readers — many of whom were devout vegans and animal rights activists — didn't take well to Younger's new "balanced" approach.

Comcast's new album, Ryan, drops next week.

Just to balance things out- Bat for Lashes man scarves anyone?
