I think the point of her lawsuit is to fix the policy so that people who don’t have her resources and can’t afford the legal fight will benefit.

Thank you. Same for referring to girls as “underage women.” Nope, they’re children.

imagine being that judge and having to judge this case. imagine being a judge and having to carefully word a decision around “the public is fucking obsessed with this man’s dick and this media outlet just ran with it, i guess.”

Not college but high school and agree about risk assessment capabilities.

Yes, it’s easy (and somewhat earned) to point and laugh at the dumb students putting themselves at risk for red cup parties and a social group they have to buy into. But it’s also incredibly disheartening to see university systems admonish a bunch of reckless and horny teenagers for failing to make rational decisions,

The President downplayed the virus on purpose and has been a volcano of false information since he could breathe.

There’s a big outbreak where Mrs. Ghost teaches as well.

I see most of these profiles as essentially similar to when a celebrity goes on a late night show, you’re not really expecting a hard hitting grilling. If Seth Meyers took a job from Judd Apatow after interviewing him we wouldn’t be concerned, I’m not really concerned about this either.

There’s some actual journalism in Marie Claire, but their fluff to substance ratio is pretty low. At least 80% of it is fashion, beauty, wellness, and celebrity/entertainment with the extra 20% is more serious content. The front page of their website currently has pieces on UBI, women’s safety using ride share apps,

All jokes about Marie Claire journalism aside, this comment stands out because - how would the content have really changed if she hadn’t accepted a job offer?

Are people reading Marie Clarie...at all?

A situation with Chrissy Teigen seems like a odd choice for going hard on journalistic ethics when the country is on fire, but ok.

To be fair, when I - a woman - get too drunk, things also get really crazy:

Trump probably routinely refers to teenage girls that way. Cohen’s problem wasn’t her age, it’s that she was his daughter, is my guess.

It wasn’t a problem until it happened to him.  It’s a Republican trait, it’s not a problem until it happens to them, see the COVID-19 crisis.  When it was hitting the blue states, New York and California especially it wasn’t a problem but it’s a virus it will travel it’s made it’s way to red states and it’s a problem

Oh my GOD, yes. It’s totally okay to objectify and creep out a stranger, but MY DAUGHTER?

You are aware that Churchill was also a racist scumbag, right?? He said some disgusting things about Indians and how happy he was the the British made famine killed so many of them.

Trump would have had to disappear from the public eye for about three weeks from the swelling from his broken nose and his two black eyes to reduce.

What a fucking creep,” I thought, when he stopped while we were ogling women so that he could ogle my daughter.

my thoughts exactly. How he didn’t slap the orange off his face for that is beyond me. We knew Cohen was as big a piece of shit as Trump but wow, your own daughter? Because Cohen had to also know if Trump was ever alone or near his daughter he’d definitely try something with her.  Fucking trash.
