She and her sister have both mentioned that they wouldn’t have wished their childhood on anyone. It helps to have money but still, that was one heck of an abusive, publicly embarrassing, nasty move in his part. I feel awful that she or anyone else has to deal with a spouse like that.

Her ex-husband sounds like a piece of work, just because other people have it worse doesn’t mean I am incapable of feeling any sympathy for her.

The responses are kind of weird.  Whether she can afford to live somewhere else or not - and she can 10 times over - does not excuse what Sarkozy has done to her if the allegation is true.  Can we stop doing the “I don’t feel sorry when bad things happen to rich people ‘cause their rich” bullshit?

Also, before you feel bad for Olsen having to wait for the courts to reopen like a plebe, remember that she’s has an “ironclad pre-nup,” which translates to her being filthy rich basically forever.

My first thoughts honestly weren’t about money at all - I think forcing her to deal with a big move in the midst of a pandemic, with very little notice and in the middle of the one of the worst-hit cities, is the really sinister part.

I’ve been rocking a few Elizabeth and James mens pants when they still used to do mens, and they are still staple pieces for work and still going strong. I do think the girls are very talented designers, and the bowls of cigarettes are forever, Mary-Kate is a business woman in her own right.

Y’know, yeah, and I have no real idea of what her childhood was like, maybe it was awesome, but between Full House and all those movies she and her sister did (had to do?), and the general history of child stardom, I doubt I’d be tempted to live her childhood to get her money. 

Don’t forget about them claiming Obummer was going to kill their grandparents with Obamacare death panels. Now they’re all about thinning the herd! 

I’m all for these people having the right to kill themselves. Just go do it somewhere far away that doesn’t affect the rest of us. And make sure you have pre-paid for your burial thank you very much.
