well it's kinda iffy, there's more ways to load the game itself. If they used the binary just to execute some other code hidden in one of the libraries it's pretty simple to write/port it to other systems. My guess is this title used that kind of startup.

I would assume everyone with sense is calling it DayZ like JayZ, otherwise you'd sound like a berk.
